I would argue, Ted Nugent Fred Bear conveys more emotion, Scorpions Rock you like a hurricane, Van Halen Right Now, U2 most songs, Sammy Hagar 55, and if you want to really flip genres, shanto conner or cranberries, or Stevie Nicks edge of 17 all evike morw emotion, but that being said the bad english singer is an above average hair band singer and is clear. I think the when I see you smile song is perhaps a better song. Think of Bon Jovi and White snake or white lion as well. Poison every rose has a thorn, my list may not be perfect. Think about freddy mercury.

I went to see John Waite perform recently. He looks great still trim and long hair looks much younger then his age. And his voice sounds as good as it did when I saw him perform with The Baby's back in the 70's Amazing artist.

Watching this video after I don't know how long and all I can think is, "OMG, Deen and Neal just kick so much ass on this." Deen is at his vocal best with "Mother Father," but I think he owns the drums on this more so than on any other song he has done. And Neal just shreds like a beast on this song. After Steve Perry went "on hiatus," from Journey after the Raised on Radio album, Jonathan Cain got his old Babys bandmates Waite and Phillips to join him and Schon and added Castronovo on drums (now a permanent Journey member). They say they were done before their 2nd disc Backlash came out, Waite back to solo and Schon forming Hardline. What you see is typical late 80's early 90's music and style - big hair, big solos, and killer songs.

This is a great stalker song. The lyrics are absolutely disturbing, but John Waite's singing is sexy and passionate. Neil Schon's guitar work is brilliant. There is a sultry spooky groove going on. The video is so cheesy it is great. Love the Keytar. This brings back some amazing memories for me. Back in the day I didn't quite absorb the song's meaning.
