I would agree but I would not say hes the very best of conveying emotions but ok. I would argue, Ted Nugent Fred Bear conveys more emotion, Scorpions Rock you like a hurricane, Van Halen Right Now, U2 most songs, Sammy Hagar 55, and if you want to really flip genres, shanto conner or cranberries, or Stevie Nicks edge of 17 all evike morw emotion, but that being said the bad english singer is an above average hair band singer and is clear. I think the when I see you smile song is perhaps a better song. Think of Bon Jovi and White snake or white lion as well. Poison every rose has a thorn, my list may not be perfect. Think about freddy mercury.

This is 100% Deen's show. Look at how firmly in control of this song he is. No matter what Jonathan, Ricky or Neal are doing, Deen is the rudder driving this powerful song along at top speed. His beats are coarse, the fills and kick patterns rough and raw, and no matter how much gloss is applied to the production, this rhythm track is filthy.
You do realize in the video he's doing all sorts of moves and acting and showing off and really isn't playing at all as tight as you think he is right? It's a performance. He's way to animated and crazy to be doing anything in tempo.

I was walking past a skip - (or dumpster!), where someone was clearing out a house they had bought.There were some of those specially made "briefcases" for cassette tapes. Now that C.D.s had come in, younger people didn't want tapes, and threw them out! I took these cases home, and found some really great tapes! Including one of this formidable band.And I didn't even know who they were, because the tape had been a blank one someone recorded this music onto! I finally found out, when a radio station mentioned John Waite, (who is a fantastic singer) was with a band called BAD ENGLISH, and the mystery was finally solved! I really thought that this must be a band from England ( what with the name bad ENGLISH), and because these are exactly the sort of musicians on our fantastic ISLAND record label! False trail! But an EXCEPTIONAL band and I treasure my album on the tape I found by chance!
I bought Rovers Return in a Woolworth's bargain bin in North West England not too far from his home town of Lancaster in 1987 and have been a fan ever since. No hits off the album but to this day one of my favourites. I knew about Missing You from 1984 of course but that find in the bargain bin having not heard any of the tracks turned out to be one of the best. Not as goood as your cassette discovery !
One of the best supergroups ever! Their 2nd release, Backlash, was sadly overlooked. The chemistry was just unbelievably awesome! I can imagine Robin Zander joining Bad English for a song or two. Wow! That would be a killer vocal combination!

I do wish the 1st guitar solo had been longer. They were beginning the avalanche and it just...stopped. It's a really good song that could have been epic. Still fun to watch and listen to.

I went to see John Waite perform recently. He looks great still trim and long hair looks much younger then his age. And his voice sounds as good as it did when I saw him perform with The Baby's back in the 70's Amazing artist.

All this reminds me time flies . I remember this album like it was yesterday . The girl let me know this "Super Group " was called Bad English. Now I listen to " Wooden Heart " Thank you John and Neal .

So bad that such an amazing superband decided to call it a day so soon. They "won't ever be forgotten " by so many fans still hungry for a little more of that HQ elegant Rock Music.
I went to see John Waite perform recently. He looks great still trim and long hair looks much younger then his age. And his voice sounds as good as it did when I saw him perform with The Baby's back in the 70's Amazing artist.
