They started the stage with new tires, but the temperature outside was so hot and they had serious degradation. That's with the car is so nervous. You can see that while they are arriving to the finish the car is undriveble. Regards
Wow, really this is are very serius driving skills, i love how he counterstering in the corners, really amazing! And the car is not bad at all to be a ford ;)
Even with feeding in throttle, short every up shift, no redline apart from in that odd but awsome 6th ratio.. That weapon of a car and the conditions still brutalized its rubber! Crazy stuff but for sure!
Wow that's serious skills! Why is he so nervous (?) in the entrance of the corners?? I don't know how to describe that in English.. For example, in a left corner, you can turn write instantly and then left... He turns left write and then left.... But why????
+Δημητρης Κουβαρας - It's called a Scandinavian Flick. It's so he can get the back of the car to slide before going into a corner so he is already drifting when he enters the corner.
+CarverGeeker thank you sir! Scandinavian flick. I can see that, but i wonder why is he doing more moves (with the weel) than the necessary to achieve that! Right - left-right and then left (in a left corner for example).
I think his tires were just overheated and greasy. The car was probably sliding a lot more than we can tell on camera and he was trying to just control it for a lot of the time. Ever driven a rear-wheel-drive vehicle in the snow or ice? It's the same- you have to work the wheel a lot just to keep the car pointed in the right direction.
bueno me imagine u scort mk2 o por el stilo, aun asi mas a mi favor para alargale mas las marchas, aunqe bueno la relacion de marchas qizas sea mas corta de lo q creo. :s
