I think she was pushed in the wrong direction with her music & style tbh. They turned her into this pretty, pop princess type that sings about love and boys, but she used to have this really cool edgy street style and I miss that. She was appealing to the hiphop genre with her first audition and her style, I really think she would have been groundbreaking as a hiphop/rap artist. I think she was pushed into this by whoever is managing her. She completely lost her original image and vibe when she started actually producing music.
I don't understand why everyone is saying she sounds terrible here! I strongly disagree. Obviously the music video & recorded track sounds better, but that's because this is a live performance, so she's dancing while singing with no edits, so obviously it's not going to sound exactly like the original. Give the girl a break please! I think she did excellent. It's not easy trying to perform live while jumping around stage in front of an audience. Plus she may have been nervous, but I thought she did great.💖 People always have to be so negative. If you don't like it, don't watch it...so critical.
