Glad to see someone else using big cranks for walleyes. Your videos are awesome. Me and my bro use the rapala super shad raps for walleye in the fall and they work really well.
Thanks!, We love using the super shad raps aswell we catch some giant Walleyes on them. Caught a 32" on an orange fire tiger super shad a few years back!
I don’t think you’ll really get away with it not hurting over long days of casting big baits. You could try casting from the side and looping the bait at the beginning of the cast to help the economy of motion. It’s a lot smoother instead of just straight back and a throw. You just basically do a circle with the bait and at the bottom of the circle you’re releasing the cast.
From my experiences if you want to catch big walleyes use musky baits, and if you want to catch big muskies use walleye baits. I hook into way more muskies when I'm walleye fishing than when I'm musky fishing, just never fails.
@@darylgilbertoutdoors does this only apply on clear waters ? I fish the French river a lot it’s got a lot of smelt Cisco and whitefish is fairly clear in comparison to most lakes around and you catch most of your walleye in 35’! I gave this a try last night with some magnum tail dancers was surprised to see the basin come to life from 3pm until dark

You need to get a bigger rod. Your shoulders shouldn’t hurt from using bigger baits if you’ve got the right equipment.
pop a couple triactin'
