@ how do you get it to not sink all the way to the bottom if you leave the bail open? Mine sinks all the time if I do that

@ how heavy of a bait are you using? You can adjust the weight that triggers by sliding the o ring further up the rod for the flag or the rubber stopper on the trigger further up the rod also

@@darylgilbertoutdoors ahhhh. I was wondering if I could play with those. So the O ring on the bar where you clip the flag- you move that closer to where the flag is to be tighter? Or is it the rubber on the trigger that affects it? Will start to play with it more. Testing it out yesterday so I can use it more this winter for possible walleye when I am walleye hunting

@ mainly the one on the trigger just push it back further, they do make a shorter trigger which also lets you use bigger baits for pike dead rigs. Basically it’s just a cut version of the same trigger

It was 5-7”, looks deceiving on the camera. If it was an inch we’d be swimming… if it was under 3” we’d be swimming

Basically any boat launch on this lake has access to ice fish!

There’s some good perch in Alberta but it will be hard to get any info on where they are. Guys are very protective of the perch there!

Thanks, definitely! The battery banks the only way to go in cold temperatures the batteries just fail all the time. Blades are always dull around here there’s just too much sand on the ice!

@darylgilbertoutdoors I'm slowly going away from gopros, I think both the insta360 ace pro and dji actions have better features and reliability. my gopros fails me too much... hurts the most with hunting, you only have one shot. Haha
