Most definitely agree, that album sounded nowhere near anything else that had been done in hip hop. New sound, style, mid west artist with a splash of west coast style. It was one of a kind.

"Let's list mostly east coast albums." "That'll surprise them!" Very safe and expected list. The 90s (and the 00's & beyond) are too deep to try to cover in a single top 10. You should do a top ten by regions (east, west, south, and midwest). That would be more accurate and more classics can be covered. If needed, the midwest could be combined with the west or the south.

I definitely think that 2016-2019 was a golden era for Hip hop. That era energized me, and I had good memories of that era. How DARE you not have The Roots Illadelph Halflife and have Things Fall Apart smh. I hope you have Camp Lo, Busta, Nas, Tupac 2x, Biggie arguably 2x, Jay Z Reasonable Doubt Raekwon, Ghost, Fugues 👀 I know it's tight being a top 10 but some are just no exception. Should have did 15 or 20

There is no way, even though I love Reasonable Doubt, that’s it’s higher then 36 Chambers or Aquemini. No way. Both 36 and Aquemini are top 5 records EVER!

I really need to know what’s the criteria for this channel rankings.
Having LAD over RTD is CRAZY. No Infamous, Cuban Linx. These two albums are better than at least five albums on this list. Reasonable doubt is a classic but not top 10 worthy. Atliens should be over Aquemini but that’s close. For me my ten would be
    In Order
    Midnight Marauders
    Illmatic
    Purple Tape
    Blackstar
    The Chronic
    Doggystyle
    Atliens
    Ready to Die
    Infamous
    The Low End Theory
No doubt the 90s was the greatest decade in hip hop so making a 10 is tough.

This list is absolutely ridiculous. It seems that in order to make this list you had to have a significant album and sale a certain amount. Ready To Die spoke to an entire generation because of it’s complete honesty and complexity. Life After Death Till Death Do Us Part is phenomenal but let’s not forget it’s predecessor.
