I agree with what the other dude said, we keep lowering the standards. It was a nasty throw down. However, if I had to choose between that Ant's dunk or Jalen Green's dunk, I'd choose Jalen's coz Jalen actually grabbed the rim. Let's talk about the actual rim measurement. 2 pro-size balls can fit in that rim, so if you just throw it at the right angle, that ball's gonna go in.

  • @EBIJunk-u6z
    @EBIJunk-u6z 7 месяцев назад +1

Dominique did not jump as good off of one foot or from distance as he jumped vertically off two feet. Jordan could jump vertically and from the free throw line. He also could jump off one foot or two which Ant can do as well. But if you take a closer look at Ant's block he used his right hand/arm to push off his teammate McDaniels who was also jumping which enabled Ant to get up higher and his recent dunk he actually used his left hand/arm to push off the defender Collins to get up higher as well. Its similar to players jumping over people in a dunk contest using their off arm to push off the person they are jumping over to get up higher which allows them to jump over that person.

The poster dunk over John Collins has officially made Anthony Edwards my favorite current player to watch in the NBA. I still have Kawhi Leonard at No. 1 because he plays for my Clippers. And Paul George is at No. 2. But Anthony Edwards is at No 3 and my favorite non-Clipper player right now.
I think some Jordan/Kobe/DWade fans are misinterpreting what we’re saying about Ant. We’re not saying Ant is as great as them or will ever be as great as them. We’re saying he reminds us of them. He’s a combination of MJ, Kobe, DWade, and Vinsanity. MJ fans were mad 26 years ago when people were comparing Kobe to MJ.
Anthony Edwards really fits that mold of exciting SGs who happens to be a highflyer while still having offensive skills without it being only dunks. The 70s through 90s were really about dunks. That was the ultimate middle finger to your defender if you can put him in a poster. Then deep, deep threes became a thing and dunks became boring.
I’m glad Anthony Edwards who is a capable scorer from outside the paint is bringing that old school Air Jordan/Air Canada poster dunks back into this game considering Steph and Dame can shoot the three very deep but aren’t highflyers like Elgin, Dr. J, Skywalker, Nique, MJ, and Vinsanity were. He fits their mold.
Incredible young player. He almost did the same thing to Anthony Davis last week. I say Ant, Luka, and Wemby run the league after Jokic stops winning more rings in 5 years. Jimmy Butler and Anthony Edwards are the long lost sons of Michael Jordan.
    Favorite Current NBA Players
    1. Kawhi Leonard
    2. Paul George
    3. Anthony Edwards
    4. Damian Lillard
    5. Victor Wembanyama
Another exciting player to watch if his head is right is Kyrie Irving. I know he’s a Kobe disciple but Kyrie might just be the most skilled player ever. He’s more efficient than Kobe going 50-40-90 and he probably has the sickest handles. Watch him cross Kobe and pretty much anyone in the 2012 USA practices.
Steph Curry, Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving, and Anthony Edwards are all more exciting players to watch than LeBalco Shames.

Edwards isn't compared to Dominique because none of his movements are really reminiscent of Dominique, they're completely different. Even in dunking, although Ant dunks with power, the way he does his dunks are different from Dominique. Just because two dunkers are both power dunkers doesn't mean they're alike. I mean, look at Shaq, dude was a real power dunker too, does anyone compare him to Dominique because of that?

Jason Tatum is in the perfect spot to be the face of the NBA.
Been to the finals, and conference finals. Also plays for one of the most famous teams. Has his own shoes.
JT just needs to want it! He’s missing that IT factor and you can’t teach it.

Just waiting for him to shave off all his hair to look exactly like Mike❤
Antman resembles Jordan way more than kobe ever did.
Edwards will become the closest thing we will ever see to MJ.
    Both talent wise and accolades.

Edit: I don't think LeBron's defense was as good as Ant's is now this early in LeBron's career, nor as tough as him.

Anthony Edwards is the next Chosen One. I saw his potential the moment he baptized Watanabe during his rookie season. The kid has crazy springs in him.
The only thing I didn’t like what he did was when he texted that IG model, Paige Jordae, to get an abortion. I guess you can say he just committed abortion on John Collins’ career! 😂
Kobe Bryant and Kawhi Leonard play more like late 90s Michael Jordan while a young Dwyane Wade and Anthony Edwards play like 80s Michael Jordan.
I was watching a video where Ewing blocks MJ’s shot. Next play, MJ cleanly blocks Ewing. MJ was VENGEANCE. Only Larry Jordan was better than him he said.

Jordan was going after people more than dominique Wilkins though. Nice segment. I still wanna say to Chris Broussard that the press does not decide who's the face of the league. Wemby may be great soon but Edwards is great right now. The comparison? I like the fact that he wants to dominate right now and he's not on some superteam BS. Lebron has been compared to Jordan because the media wanted it. There was never a legitimate reason to compare Lebron to Jordan...
