Hey Dr.A, I am so glad that you are covering this topic in depth because these are the the things I wish I would have looked at before going to college.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Hope you are feeling more confident in the decision you made. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Hope to see you for next week’s episode on how to measure the return on investment for college degrees
Damn homie, I went to college and got two MS, namely econ and mathematics. I should have ditched college and become a touring musician. That will have to wait until next time around. At least I stopped myself from getting a PhD. It was a close call, I nearly went into a program. The master programs were a better option for me, I might do another MA just because they are fun.
@@EconWithDrA Yea, I started breaking at 38 and at 42 I have a few chronic conditions, but I still play my piano and Guitar. Also, I can't tour my 3rd baby is only 6 months haha. I'll try to play at nearby cafés, that will be the compromise. But I do want to go back to school for another cool major, maybe writing. 🤔 I like your channel, cool stuff.

Decision to go to college: reading Where You Go Isn’t Who You’ll Be by Frank Bruni, with some good references to Dale-Krueger
I’d love to see a future video on the (very large) opportunity cost of a gap year in terms of NPV lifetime earnings
Really good idea. Thanks for sharing.

Too late to be a touring musician?

Hi, I am humanities student and I want to pursue economics but I didn't have mathematics in class 12th what should I do?
That should not hinder your chances at NKU. You will learn the math you need while here.
