Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to RUclips. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

the English countryside is so beautiful, even in the rain. i noticed you can drive past road works at 30 mph which is almost 50 klm here. In Australia we have to slow to around 24 mph (40 klm) past road works, theres always signs letting you know when you can go back to normal speed. thanks for an interesting drive, i felt like i was sitting next to you
30 is very much the norm for roadworks, and if it is on a motorway or bypass, then 50mph to go past road works. 🙂👍
It's the rain that keeps the countryside green. Just get out there and enjoy what nature has to offer. Glad to see you got home safely after your holiday in the south.
I usually watch walking videos, especially rain, and I will say with a car of course it's not quite the same, but your drives are always so serene & the places your driving along or through are incredibly charming, and I'm excited seeing a new rain drive on your channel!
Have to say I only really enjoyed the last part of this drive 1:24:02 The rest of this represents the nightmare that is driving on our roads nowadays: endless roadworks (with no roadworks in sight), with constantly changing speed limits (just to catch you out), which many have said causes more accidents due to focus being on your speedo and any road signs, and not on the road/traffic/surroundings enough. But the scenery is beautiful, no doubt about that.
You are correct, I guess I was too much enjoying the scenery I almost didn't notice the traffic works, even when going through editing the video I didn't really notice them. I have scrapped a fair few videos due to roadworks, it is a odd English thing to set up 8 miles roadworks for a pothole or something and wait a few months before filing it in.

It must be because I am old (68 yrs old). It appears all the cars are driving so fast. Is it just me? I feel like I am driving on the Washington, DC beltway (4 or 5 lanes in each direction). The single lane each way scares me.
