That could not have been an easy task. An early morning walk in the rain and cold whilst controlling a camera and Umbrella while also being splashed by the passing cars through the puddles. I genuinely felt your discomfort and longing, as you looked through the window at the log fire and its warmth! A job well done Kevin!

What a wonderful walk in the rain through this lovely Cottswold village. Thank for getting wet for us, Kevin, so we could stroll in comfort, although I was walking on my treadmill. I am always intrigued by all the stone walls and buildings in these villages. I wish I could go back in time and see the men building these. I wonder if the bricks were made locally or brought in. Shipton is a beautiful village which seems prosperous; everything is neat and clean. The houses are large and some very old. A nice hostel too, which seems welcoming. The surrounding countryside and the small roads are full of charm. A beautiful rainy day too. Thank you Kevin for this beautiful walk. 😀😀😀😀😀
Absolutely beautiful. The way I used to see England in story books, and (every version of) pride and prejudice movies and books lol.. Jane Austen stories. Even older Disney animated movies. It was so dreamy to me all the way here in California. I grew up in the suburbs outside of downtown Los Angeles, so I grew up in pretty neighborhoods and near the pacific coast. Cities can be fun, too! My husbands niece lives in Chippenham and I hope to visit her someday soon. I hope to visit for a month because there’s so much to see in England that seven days isn’t enough. I don’t know where Chippenham is to where you are walking but she better take me there! Lol. Thank you for sharing. ❤️😁
