Franco Cagnoli plays F2 “flamenco hijaz” by NamiHandpan

🛸 Born in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands).
Tested there between some nice players, including the master Nadishana.
It arrived here some time ago, and today I can finally present it to you.
🤯 A difficult instrument to build for more than one technical reason.
🏔🤝 I wanted it exactly like this, note for note in that tone. And I have to thank my friend Daniele Regano from NamiHandpan for accepting this challenge in a co-production way.
🇪🇸 A particular hijaz.
A little closer to Andalusian sounds than to Middle Eastern ones, due to the not very common disposition of the notes.
💡I had already seen one time before this rare scale on the top.
I wanted to add with a bit of madness a Bb2 on the gu instead of a more logical D#3. A choice I can say I am very satisfied with in hindsight.
🎧 The recording was made in a very dry room and the sound is totally natural.
As always, headphones are recommended.
