Thank you so much for offering the free patterns I’d love to try a little pillowcase dress I’ve never printed a pattern before I’ve never made clothes before!!!! so I appreciate it😍
love love the cape you made it look so simple I feel I can now tackle this project I am a new subbie looking forward to catching up on all your vids tfs have a blessed day
Omgoddess!... Absolutely had to subscribe, these capes are sooo adorable, we have four new granddaughter's two of which are twins and they would all look simply gorgeous in these capes especially if they all matched... ...👭🤗👭... My amazing family are creating an accessible 👩🏼🦽 crafty✂️art🖌nail💅 & meditation 🧘🏼♀️ space for me in our old bedroom and one of the things I can finally get out from the back of the cupboard is my lovely old brother sewing machine, It has been quite a long time since I've used it but I'm hoping you have some "refresher" or "how to" tutorials that I can follow... ...🤞🤞🤞... I am definitely going to at least 'try' and have a go at these beautiful capes (which you made look sew easy🤦🏼♀️)but I think I'll start with the business card holder that I watched before this video... Im not sure if you'll see this as I've just noticed its🗓 from a year ago but if you do, thank you for sharing your wonderfully creative talent with us, I very much l👀k forward to seeing more of your videos... Take care and stay safe my lovely... 💫😷🧵👗✂️😷💫
Love the tutorial! Do you have any suggestions on how to minimize the pattern for 18 inch dolls or 12 inch ones? Would love to make a matching set so they can match their dolls or stuffed animals!!
Hay author, thats so wonderous. Would you know ne what the fabric you use to thats cape? It's so good while without any underlying such dacron. Thanks... Succes on you...
The red cape was a velvet which was a little hard to sew. Try corduroy or denim fabrics for a warm but easy to sew cape. Use cotton for the lining. Thanks so much for watching :)

There is a doll one on my website treasurie.com/collections/18-inch-doll-clothes-patterns/products/18-doll-sewing-pattern-cape
Could you tell me how much fabric I would need for this project?
Link in description. It has a fabric and size chart. Thanks for watching :)
I don't want to make a big one, just a small one for a sock puppet. This pattern helped a bit, thanks
Thanks for watching :)
Can I use fake fur fabric for one of the layers? Is is possible to adapt this pattern to be suitable for a 2 year old boy?
Yes it comes in a size 2. If you use fake fur just trim the parts where it will go into the seam.
If you doubled the insert to be front and back two different inserts you could make the cape reversible..

I want one big enough to fit me!
Haha, me too! On my do to list but I'm afraid it is a long list.
I’m still learning so I’m trying to understand why do you “clip” it?
When you clip curved seams it helps them lie smoothly.
Perfect answer. Thanks for watching :)
Hi Israel, Candy girl below was absolutely correct. It will wrinkle and pucker otherwise. Thanks for watching :)
