    **Some people are having trouble with the video cutting out about half way through. If this happens to you follow the link here to watch the reupload - **ruclips.net/video/PSelaXuV09A/видео.html** - Sorry for the trouble, I have no idea why the video would suddenly not work properly after almost 2 years. **

      I am very new to snaps....what size snap did you use? Did you use any fabric reinforcement?

    This is the best and easiest video by far to understand on how to make and assemble these car seat ponchos. You did a wonderful job explaining this where it actually makes people feel like they can do it, unlike some other videos on making these. Thank you so much for sharing your "expertise" on this. 😊❤️ Now, off to the machine to make one for my 15 month old granddaughter for Christmas. 😊🎄☃❄️❤️

    This tutorial is great! It has been years since I have sewn anything but I made one of these for my granddaughter today. It came out almost perfect (the pattern I made for the hood was a little smaller than I wanted, but it still fits her). Thank you very much!

    I am so excited that I found your video. I have been looking at these ponchos and have watched a ton of videos and read directions but for some reason it just didn't click. Once I found your video I was able to make one with no problem. It is actually my first sewing project, I took the machine out of the box today. Now I am brainstorming other colors so my daughter can have multiple ponchos.

    I watched this video a week or so ago, and I loved it. I decided to make one for my granddaughter, so yesterday I went to purchase the fabric. Today I cannot watch the video. at about the 4:26 mark I get your outro thumbnail for the remainder of the video. I can hear you, but the video is not playing. I tried it on 3 other devices, but no luck. Wondering if this is a problem on your end, or my end. Thanks for any assistance you can offer!

    • @Whitney_Sews

      If you don't have the front all the way open you will still need a partial opening (think a polo shirt) to get the poncho over their head.

    Lovely tutorial, but just an fyi for next time if you make a couple of slits into the front either side of the opening, then when walking around your little one won't have a draft blowing inside the poncho every time she needs to say hold your hand.

    How is this reversible if you put snaps on one side?

    • @Whitney_Sews
      @Whitney_Sews  4 года назад

      Because the back end of each snap is the same so it will just cross right over left on one side and left over right when flipped.
