    good vid. after a couple of hours of research i came to the same conclusion and opted not to buy the io series .. Excellent point you made regarding the brushes.. instead i bought the "Oral B Pro 3 3900 Duo" for 65 euro on sale just a min ago.. the io series 4 duoPack would have cost me 170 euro.. That's just NUTS ! Don't misunderstand i would not mind paying more then i payed for the Pro 3.. If the lithium battery was replaceable But that will come as i believe in 2027 it's a eu law that batteries need to be replaceable.

    I'm thinking of buying this one because of the pressure sensor & 2min timer. I'm a lil worried it might be too noisy. Good thing is this model seems to have less mold issues from what I see on reviews. Otherwise I'd 100% go for one of the iO models.

      In my opinion it isn’t that loud at all, unless you don’t have a door in your bathroom the sound of the brush will only stay in there and outside nothing would be heard

    I just purchased one after watching your review(with sensitive brush heads). It's really hard to clean hard spots in my mouth with a regular toothbrush

    I just bought the same model which comes with a travel case here in Saudi from Amazon. It cost 53$ including tax and shipping, which, from what I've gathered, is a great deal. Wish I would have started using one earlier in life.
    Your reviews helped a lot.

    As a beginner to the world of electric brush, I am pondering between Pro 3 3000, IO Series 3, Sonicare 3100 and 4100. My teeth have fillings and bondings here and there, the lower front row is kinda crooked, and I have a gum gap in a back-most tooth due to recent extraction of a decaying wisdom tooth.
    Edit: I got a Pro 3 3000 with default CrossAction head, running at Sensitive Mode. Noise level is acceptable to my ears and it is easy on the gum so far. If anything, it is much more gentle on the gum than expected: I have some small swollen gum areas due to a sideway-growing wisdom tooth, but Pro 3 3000 doesn't cause any discomfort brushing nearby.

    Im new to electric toothbrushes. i got this one the pro 3 3500, and 5 just used it for the first time with cross action heads. It really does feel differently from a manual toothbrush as ive been on them all my life, but i think im going to keep taking my dentists advice too many cavities lol.

    hey, i recently purchased one of these brushes and was wondering if you know how to tell when it is fully charged? if you could explain the different lights and what they mean?
    cheers

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Месяц назад +3

      The green light on the handle will flash whilst charging. It will then turn a solid green, then turn off completely. If the light is not flashing you know it is fully charged.

    Can you review the EZZI toothbrush? The videos done by the youtube channel "Rick Buck" with pink plaque dye are convincing, but he owns the company that makes them so has a conflict of interest in recommending them! I'd really love to you know your review of this brush!

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  4 месяца назад

      Thanks for the request. It is on our list to potentially review in the near future. I can't give assurances that we will get around to it any time soon, based on other products we have being tested.
      From what I have seen of Rick Buck's videos I don't think it's a bad brush, but I am yet to be convinced it is necessarily that much better than most other options available.
      When you look at the cost of the brush & replacement heads. Factor in the materials, support etc there are models from many other brands including popular brand Philips Sonicare that are arguably just as good with the extra support.

    I just got this and no matter how hard I push the head, the pressure sensor never turns red (same for the charging LED), is this unit defective?

    • @iwillnoteatzebugs
      @iwillnoteatzebugs Месяц назад

      Most likely yes. Return it

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Месяц назад +1

      More than likely. Unusual, but no impossible for it to be defective.

    • @davidb4192
      @davidb4192 Месяц назад +1

      In my experience you have to be pushing ridiculously hard for the sensor to light up. When the battery is running low, I don't know if the led is supposed to just flash a few times, or if it stays on till charged again.

    only one negative i just discovered the Pro-3 has no battery level indicator only one led. instead of the bars i have on my Genius series.. Well the Genius Series Duo pack would have cost me 155 euro instead of the 65 euro i just payed for the pro 3 .. so i'm ok with that.. and i'm going to try to de-solder and fix my old Genius oral-b
