Agree, someone said click bait above, is this yet another marketing ploy? Getting less likely to believe vapor w 15:02 are commercials. Is $149 for a 20 inch? Certainly not for size shown. If real, I'll take 5 tonight 😮😢
Whoever thought that a large TV screen in front of the driver of a car was a good thing is an idiot. It is a total distraction and should be made illegal just as using an iPhone whilst driving is illegal.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. Safety is indeed a critical concern when it comes to in-car technology. While large screens are designed to centralize controls and reduce physical buttons, it’s essential that their interfaces prioritize minimal distraction and intuitive use. In many vehicles, screens are configured to limit functionality while driving to reduce the risk of distraction. However, the concern about potential misuse or over-reliance on such technology is valid. It's important for automakers and regulators to continue refining designs to balance convenience with safety. Your point underscores the need for ongoing innovation and thoughtful regulation in this area.
Tesla A.S. is Czech based company and near in 70 years experience, even they produced Z-80 CPU. It is so funny. I’ve got to say that I pride myself being a A/V techie. And that is a say I know about production cost suppliers and what not. The $179 price for even a 55 inch is absolutely completely absurd. I’m sorry I simply can’t believe it. First of all, let’s get something straight. The panel has to be bought from an outside supplier. Nobody’s gonna sell that panel for such a ridiculously low price. That’s not including the guts to go into the panel that is the electronics and everything else it’s simply can’t be done. If it is done, I’ll eat my shorts, as long as I have a little seasoning go along with it. 😂The only way I can see it happening is if the whole damn electronics industry comes crashing down with everything else and we have to start from scratch financially in a new system.😮
I’m sure that is the base price! I’m sure it goes up with bells and whistles! I’m sure in the end we will be paying the price they’re really looking for!! But I bet it will outshine Apple and other top brands!!

I think this will be another Tesla TURBINE product! Traditional TV manufacturers have had things their own way for too long 🤞
Great question! The price typically depends on the model and features of the wall mount, as well as any compatibility with the upcoming smart TV. Once the specific model and features are released, we should have more detailed information about the pricing and whether it’s included or sold separately. Stay tuned for updates!

Tesla’s Smart TV could redefine how we experience shopping during Black Friday. With its seamless integration of cutting-edge technology, it might support features like personalized ads, instant shopping options, or even direct access to deals via apps. Imagine browsing Black Friday deals from your couch with unmatched speed and clarity! It’s all about making the experience smarter and more efficient. What do you think?
Whether this marvel presently exist or not, it is definitely going to send all present TV manufacturers into a scramble to match these specifications. We, the consumers, will be the ultimate beneficiaries.
Thanks for your patience! I just want to make sure you're getting the right information. If the $179 is tied to something specific, I can look into it further for you. Let me know if you have any other questions or need more details about what’s being offered!

@adamtech999 The competition has been building TV's for a super long time. I don't think no matter what price that TV will do well. It will definitely have to prove itself amongst giants. I do like the competition though. Especially a TV at a low price point could force the prices down for the competition. 😁

briliant! Tesla has already integrated the virtual keyboard in their TVS, however, having physical keyboard is also exciting, I think Tesla may take your opinion into consideration
Given Tesla's commitment to sustainability, it's likely their SmartTV will be energy efficient. While specifics aren't confirmed, we can expect innovative power-saving features to align with their eco-friendly ethos. Stay tuned for more details!

If Tesla’s SmartTV taps into the potential of these, it could set a new standard for display quality in the market.
it's likely that Tesla will offer robust support, especially given their focus on seamless integration with other Tesla products. When you think of Tesla, you immediately think of Elon Musk, right? And while many people associate this car company with the United States thanks to its headquarters in Palo Alto, there is no doubt that it is an international company. In fact, Elon Musk himself is South African with Canadian citizenship. So it is not the classic American company that we all thought it was. However, it does have some ties to the United States. Although Musk is the majority shareholder of Tesla, the second largest shareholder of Tesla is Vanguard Group, which is an American company. Therefore, it is fair to say that Tesla is a multinational company.
Tesla is well-known for its electric vehicles and innovative technology, but as of now, they do not manufacture televisions. Their focus primarily remains on electric vehicles, solar energy products, and energy storage solutions. However, with Tesla's penchant for innovation, who knows what the future might hold? I would buy it immediately IF it has also 3D features. (Without glasses) the only company who can do that is unfortunately Proma, which is still very expensive. But I find this in combination with the Tesla Phone a real challenge for other big companies as Apple and Samsung. I wonder how much the prices from them would fastly drop.
That’s an interesting point! 3D without glasses would definitely be a game-changer, and it’s exciting to think about how it could disrupt the market. While Proma has a strong lead in that area, it's true that competition could push companies like Apple and Samsung to innovate and adjust their pricing. If Tesla continues to innovate alongside its phone, it could be a real challenge for the big players. Hopefully, we’ll see some great advancements in the coming years!
