“La Llorona” is Spanish for The weeping woman, this is the legend: Generations of Mexican children have grown up afraid of La Llorona-a wailing woman whose misdeeds in life have left her spirit trapped on Earth, where she torments little children. long ago, a woman named Maria married a rich man, with whom she eventually had two children. Then their marriage hit a rough patch: her husband spent less and less time at home, and whenever he was home, he paid attention only to the children. Eventually, she sees him with another woman. Enraged beyond reason, some versions claim Maria drowned her two children-but she immediately regretted it, crying out, “Ay, mis hijos!” (Translation: “Oh, my children!” or “Oh, my sons!”) Maria is sometimes said to have drowned herself afterward. But when she arrived at heaven’s gates, she was denied entry, banished back to purgatory on Earth until she could find her lost children. Now, she floats over and near bodies of water in her white, funereal gown, forever weeping as she searches for her lost children….

My family also vacationed on a boat in the lakes of Virginia, and I NEVER had any sort of fear of deep water like that. Then, ever since I moved to Indiana, it’s like a switch was flipped and just THINKING about deep water like that makes me queasy - hell no 😱🙅♀️

So here’s a funny/creepy story: So idk… maybe about twenty years ago my parents watched The Ring. Obviously it scared the heck out of them. My dad couldn’t sleep for months and every time he went to bed he would imagine a little girl with dark hair standing in the corner of his room. Then about maybe 15 yrs later (after him and my mom got married) he would sometimes here tapping on the door of their bedroom. It wasn’t loud, it was very faint. He would get up to investigate. He would go to the door and nobody would be there. Then he turned to his right and there was a little girl with dark hair spilling over her face. That girl… was my little annoying sister coming to sleep with them when she couldn’t go to sleep. This happened a lot when she was little. Now admit it, I had you in the first half. Edit: I just wanna say that this is my dad’s story and it’s definitely real, I just extended it making it scarier
La Llorona - “Lah Yahrohnah” also know as the Wailer. Drowned her children in the ditches or arroyos and comes out after dark to find other innocent children to drown. A myth told by many generations to make sure children got home before dark :) love the vids!
Honestly as someone who lives in a haunted ass house, eventually you do get to the point of "gen z reactions" lmfaoo A door will slam or a hanger go flying out the closet and I'm just like "ah fuck, it's this shit again"
The reason the Ring doorbell thing was scary to the person who originally posted it is because that device is mounted to your doorframe. If it's moving, that means that something is physically doing something to it while also not being visible on the camera. They don't usually move at all since they're screwed/bolted directly to the wall of your house. So the OP got a loud noise warning from their Ring device while they were at work, saw the camera actively moving when they checked the feed, and now is scared that something is wrong with their house.
The legend of ‘La Llorona’ has a wide variety of details and versions. In a typical version of the legend, a beautiful woman named Xochitl marries a rich ranchero, with whom she bears two children. One day, Xochitl sees her husband with another woman and in a fit of blind rage, she drowns their children in a river, which she immediately regrets. Unable to save them and consumed by guilt, she drowns herself as well but is unable to enter the afterlife, forced to be in purgatory and roam the earth until she finds her children. Legend has it, if you’re near a river of some sort (especially at night) and you hear cries and screams coming from the river, that’s La Llorona.
La Llorona: the spirtit of a woman who died of sorrow after her children were killed, either by herself or by her family. Now she spends eternity looking for her children. She is found weeping for her children. If you hear her, its said to run the opposite direction immediately. She is said to bring misfortune and/or even death
Me: scared of demons, and moving dolls, and basically horror movies. Also Me: watches crime shows with people who died tragic deaths and dead bodies found in weird places that are real.
As a former sleepwalker, I can confidently say that those were all perfectly normal sleepwalking behaviors. I used to move furniture, knock over books, hide things, pull everything out from under my bed before laying down there and pulling the things back in front of me, and carry on full conversations with people. I apparently even ran a bath and climbed in one time when I was much younger.
Yeah, but that girl lit a MATCH. She could've burn the house down. AND, after setting the glass down and TURNING AWAY, the glass just shattered. That's not normal. (I didn't sleep walk per say, but I'd sit up in my bed and talk to like, posters and stuff when I was younger)

The very first episode of Supernatural was a variation on this. (I've been rewatching it lately.)
Thank you for the information
Pog 😃
Wow 😮
I heard this story on Sam and Colby
La Llorona: the spirtit of a woman who died of sorrow after her children were killed, either by herself or by her family.
Now she spends eternity looking for her children. She is found weeping for her children. If you hear her, its said to run the opposite direction immediately. She is said to bring misfortune and/or even death
When there are dark rooms in these tictoks I always expect for Freddy fazbears eyes to appear and hear the music playing😂
Every time I got scared I would just look at Kris’s face of her making faces I would laugh
Me: scared of demons, and moving dolls, and basically horror movies.
Also Me: watches crime shows with people who died tragic deaths and dead bodies found in weird places that are real.
Lol🤣

5:55 😂 (my favourite part)
Funny accent: don't want the demons to get ma toes.
I kept waiting for one of them to be just a derpy dog in a costume, those are my favorite spooktoks
@@gxmmiwrms Sleepwalkers can carry out complex actions while asleep. It might seem strange, but it's true. And these paranormal tiktoks are all fake anyway.
"Pretty realistic screams"
... How do you know how realistic screams sound, Kris?
You clapping at the end was probably the only scary thing😂
You know I'm unhinged when I watch horror stuff with bloodcurdling screams and just say cool
“Oh she got snatched like a baby dingo- why am I Australian?” Lmfao love it
