Nice video, I have a similar build, I’m just starting with. One thing I’d change is replacing Howl of Shabriri with flame give me strength incantation, as this will boost the Bloodflame incantation without the extra damage taken from Howl of Shabriri.
If I remember correctly HoS still out damages FMGS, despite the fire damage buff from BFB. I’m more interested in using it because of its low faith requirement, as 33 is expensive when you’re limiting yourself to level 150. I’d rather have 60 vig and 25 end than the menial damage buff from HoS
It is messy, but its effectiveness is undeniable. Very good video. Next time (add bloodsucking and healing/stamina or mana regen tear + Melania's great rune) true vampire/lich build
I try not to use great runes in the vids just to show how good the weapon/build is without them but you’re right, if you want to be a true vampire, that would be some great changes to the build for that :)
Thank you! Yeah I always run HoS just because I’m trying to do as much damage as possible - flame grant me strength is also a very good option as it’ll help with stamina regen + fire damage boost! :)
I’m getting 813 AR with a Lightning infusion at 80 dexterity. Only 718 with Keen. And at 40 strength and 60 dexterity I’m at 729 while two handing the weapon. Is there something I’m missing? Is Lightning really inferior here? It gets a C scaling compared the Keens B, but the AR is significantly higher Edit: yes you can’t buff the weapon
Yeah whenever you apply another status to a weapon the AR will always be better - flame art is typically best I believe but Cold, Flame Art, Sacred & lightning all do a similar split as you mentioned - reason why I didn’t do that is because physical damage is transferable against all enemies, so don’t necessarily have to worry about weaknesses, and you can apply the right buffs to the weapon for the respective fight (that you can’t do with the other alterations like lightning) If you don’t care for the extra bleed etc, feel free to change into the various damage types with the weapon art :)
You can do that, but with occult weapons, you can’t apply greases/weapon buffs but obviously you’ll have a much better base bleed value - so if you want to do that, feel free :)
IMO, Storm blade performs better on Radahn fight, it's faster and got range. Personally tried blood tax on him and got recked, he has some fast wind ups and blood tax animation is way too long.

You need the whet blade from stormveil castle - it’s behind a fog door that you need stonesword keys to open it with - I would say look up the location as it’s kind of hard to explain in text :)

Would recommend having occult infusion with arc so you can get more bleeds from the ash
But then you can’t use Bloodflame…

Get 105ish bleed with occult and like 95 with quality and blood flame blade. More bleed and don’t have to keep buffing your weapon.

This may be the best version of this build. I tried double slash(good), both the storm ashes(good), but this looks even better

Yeah, blood tax does require near perfect timing in that fight - not really used storm blade much but sounds like I need to give it another go! :)

Why don't you use blood sucking tear if the weapon heals you?
Because there’s some points, especially in NG+, where you are on the brink of death trading hits, so using blood sucking tear will kill you

It works in ng+7, i run a similiar build atm (only with a bleed katana and repeating strikes)

a full bleed build would be great. is there one that is as strong as the old jump & win blood build with 2 swords? (feather armor, white mask etc.)
