TKA’s Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts, a two-time American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program recently produced "Jekyll & Hyde" featuring Gregorio Umana in the leading role. The Smith Conservatory is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mr. Nathaniel Adams (Director of Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Director of Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Mr. Douglas Gawriljuk (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Mrs. Heidi Martin (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft & Technical Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Director of Instrumental Arts), Mrs. Stephenie Grasso (Instrumental Arts) Mr. Patrick Clifford (Instrumental Arts Strings), Mr. Austin Parenti (Media Arts Director), Mrs. Mary McCarty (Media Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Mrs. Virginia Nucci (Visual Arts), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Instrumental Arts Piano).

Jekyll's aggressiveness and paranoia (and his regret later on), Emma's compassion and understanding despite her confusion-- both of their hurting is so clear. Their chemistry is superb! I've also always loved how strong and patient Emma is; she's like Henry's rock as he's slowly spiraling into darkness. And her voice! This is one of my favorite songs to sing as a soprano, and Alli pulls this off so well! Such an emotional and beautiful performance

I actually love Emma more than Lucy (her love for Jekyll is more painful)
Gregorio is really a superb actor /singer (the Broadway J/H guys can’t even hold a candle to his performance/ portrayal)…his aggressiveness, his paranoia, his remorse for shouting at his fiancée…
Alli Graves is also brilliant as Emma (her headstrong and gentle sides)

I think that his obsession with working alone is leading him down the path towards his own destruction. He has thrown so much into his work, that he has forgotten what he truly loves. Emma feels but she is in love with him despite his faults. She wants to know if Henry still loves her.
