Seeing all these comments makes me realise I’m not the only person obsessed with this reading 🥲 I listen almost every night (coroline or watership down. Nothing else puts me to sleep. )Thank heavens it’s back
I also fall asleep to Coraline most nights! Last night messed me up big time when I went looking for it and it was gone! 😮😭 I put on Jekyll and Hyde and fell asleep just the teeniest bit disappointed. But anything on this channel will do!

He sounds English, or at least doesnt have an Australian accent but a British one, I dont know about where he comes from but I'm British and he sounds British to me so dont be snarky!

I’m forgetful so all I can remember is the beginning of the book before I fall asleep so I wake up almost done with it not remembering anything and having to restart the whole book because I want to finish it!!! It’s sooo hard to try to not fall asleep, especially with the rain noises!!
I read Coraline when I was 9 years old, I’m 24 now.
I watched the re-release of the film in theaters and quickly remembered how fond I was of this story.
Such a treat to return and pick up on all the nuances and peculiarities I may have missed as a child.
Candle burning, cozy in bed, and a snack. This reading is pure bliss, calming and so well done! 🌙🤍🦉

I can't get out of my mind that the hand is not destroyed! Its strong enough to climb on all kinds of things, harm dogs and even scratch glass. Its intelligent and perceptive enough to know its way. The hand and the key are now together. The height, wood and rocks of the well can keep the hand in for a time. I can't stop thinking no one is safe. The hand has the key and will eventually find a way to bring it back. The cycle will continue.
Did you know most “rain sounds” are actually recordings of oil frying in a pan? Lol

I don’t even know how many times I have listened to this one. I had to actually listen to it once while fully awake today to be able to finish the story. I’ll go back to falling asleep to it tonight.
I have listened to it awake several times, I am here listening on a Sunday afternoon again! It's wonderful.

I can’t wait until technology is far enough along for my phone to know when I’ve fallen asleep and pause these videos for me so I can pick up where I leave off.
If u have iphone u can do something similar. Just set timer and in the sound section pick “stop playing” I usually pick 10 or 20 minutes and I can just continue when I wake up 🍀

Given my inspire watch can tell when I fall asleep, I wish I could link that to everything... If only I knew how to code, I'd be rich if I did the bridge 😢
One time I was napping and I remember waking up briefly and hearing coraline’s name and falling back asleep really quickly and when I woke up I realized that my bf put it on for me while I was asleep and he said it was to help me sleep well and not wake up because of our cats playing and it makes my heart warm every time I remember him doing that. Love this audio

I have never understood why, with how the leek and potato soup sounded so good in the book, they made it look so nasty as a weird casserole in the movie

Children will be scarred forever if they include in the movie the part where the Other Father chases Coraline in the trapdoor cellar.
Prolly the most terrifying part of the book and my most fav. I remember reading that the first time, my heart was pounding also.
The book is far horrifying and sinister than the movie. But I love the movie also. My comfort movie.

Since I never read Coraline, or listened to an audiobook of it, I'm not using this to sleep. I'm rather walking around outside and doing my shopping and whatever else. I have to know the entire story first.
I have a sleep disorder and I've searched high and low n was sceptical about this one after the comments. But I loved this. And this one really helped! I slept for nearly 2 hours which is good for me 😆 and I love coraline too n this man has a lovely voice.

This didn't put me to sleep (unlike others in the series). It became an enthralling and spooky guided dream. I remember it all. The mindscape so much more powerful than any film. Loved it and glad I'm on holiday so I don't have to function much the next day. Fascinating!
