Welcome to another busy week in the Plant Yard
We start off with a visit to Aintree motor racing circuit and later move a twenty tonne CX210 long reach excavator
Later in the week we deliver a brand new LiuGong 922F excavator to new owners JN Civils
There’s moves aplenty and the R590 goes into Preston Scania for it’s six weekly inspection
We end the week with some dry weather at last and a little extra overtime

We do have a much older trailer that I lower the biggest machines down on the boom but it’s not really necessary with modern step frame trailers 🤟

Great video as usual. Have you changed the beacons on the back of the trailer? I have noticed something was different for a few weeks but couldn't put my finger on what it was!

Haha yes, a couple of the beacons on my side markers needed replacing and I couldn’t get the same design so I used the ones off the rear and replaced those instead, it’s daft I know but it’s the way my head works 🤦🏻‍♂️😉

Refers to the different weight of the loads. Cat 1 goes to 50 tons and cat 2 goes to 80 tons required by law to display this

Interestingly, the authorities in our area have become quite keen that we do not display boards if we’re not in scope, I can see the point but you’d think they’d have more important things concern themselves with…🤟
