Great stew Lance. Always entertaining. I have no idea what tractors are worth these days but $ 8250. Inclusive of gst seems like a lot with money with more to be spent. I don’t think you would get that money down here in Victoria. Good luck.
Yes we felt it was way over priced for what it was. They were often a rusty model and very little rust in the panels was the thing that got us interested.
hi lance , nice video, interesting the land cruiser thing in oz, i like that you still can buy the more utility squarer older type body shape like yours = love the rig up you got in the back - Those older ones here are like rockin horse shit and fetch amazing money if good. We have always had non utility type posh curvy 1992, 80 series and (2000 to 2002)100 series here 4.2 non ecd intercooler and ecd intercooler non ahc/ahc in our fleet but they are starting to crumble (rust) a bit now, (wish we had your weather and they might fair better -the 80 seemed better in that department! Trouble is the only option is smaller engine pick ups to buy newer now .
Yeah the V8 is a good unit, strong and stable when towing a tractor. We like it.
Hello Lance, I have been watching your videos, and they are very helpful. Is it advisable to replace the hydraulic stand pipe that has an attached square weight on it with the one without it. It is a bit of a hassle to remove the lift cover when replacing the bottom seals.
I do at times if there is a good working relief valve on the pump and you dont need pressure control.
