In the Vietnam war they were pretty bulletproof, quite a few stories of them taking a direct RPG hit and still going
One Huey pilot even got shot right in the head and the glass slowed the bullet so it just bounced off his helmet

It's kinda funny that Jim Caviezel is playing the warden in this film when he was the prison escapee in The Count of Monte Cristo
Patick McGoohan played the title role in the tv series "The Prisoner" and was the warden in the movie "Escape from Alcatraz"
When you think about it, this movie makes a few nods to Dumas (author of Count of Monte Cristo)here. The premise of the plot, Porthos being the fake name Stallone uses, Jim Caviziel being in it.
The soldiers are even worse than stromtroppers they don't even shoot

I like how his profession of showing the faults in prison security turned into a war!
Hobbes had ludicrously good aim all things considered, like generally villains have conveniently shitty aim but this dude was shooting cables, Arnie, critical points on the chopper and generally hitting key shit with a pistol in one hand from like 20 to 30 metres away, realistically he wouldn’t have hit jack shit honestly

It's a fun movie. And there's a scene with Arnold which, all I'll say is-possibly some of the funniest shit the man has ever done.

The strength and focus it takes to hipfire (and successfully aim) a SAW isn’t easy. Makes sense that Arnold is one of the only humans who’s really good at it.
Jim Cavezial is way entertaining as a character actor.
He was amazing in the movie Frequency and in the TV show Persons of Interest

a truly inescapeable prison requires that the prisoner cannot see or interact or communicate with other prisoners, that way they can’t work together
Funny how they hovered waiting for him to climb the ladder while being shot at, but then flew off when the bad guys were dead with him still on the ladder.

Say what you want about the film but 0:17 is a fucking great shot of Arnold.

that movie has a cool idea but there's so many things wrong... in that scene, if we're not looking at the aiming on the string of the lader, the aiming from a flexible ladder with one hand on a helicopter and so on, WHY the fuck would the chopper wait so long to move, once he's on the ladder they just wait there for the end of the shooting like "hey i'm here shoot me !"... and appart from logic issue the writing is dissapoointing, I mean we spend the hole movie seeing how ray is an expert in escaping prisons, doing master plans and so on but in the end they litterally escape by doing the most basic thing possible : starting a fight and shooting their way out... it's so fucking bad
Its a film with Sylvestor Stallone and Arnold Schwarzaneggar you really dont need to look into it that much mate

I enjoyed this movie a lot but it is absolutely unrealistic that this chopper was not hit by bullets so it had to plummet on deck or later on the sea.
