this is genuinely helpful. i feel like i tend to a.) not add enough wrinkles and b.) add the wrong types of wrinkles when i do add them. thanks for putting this tutorial out!
Honestly, I love them both equally. They're great programs for artists! CSP just happens to have several more options and handy tools that helps speeding up my drawing process
excellent, excellent tutorial, the explanation and the examples are so so so clear, they are very helpful, you explain so well and in a nice way ♥ Beyond that, I love that you started by indicating the importance of the reference and the types of fabrics, and that it ends with the same message, the use of the reference is super important in everything we draw thanks for sharing this tutorial, great as always !
Aaaaa thank you so so much for this tutorial! Shading and drawing clothes are the most hardest to draw for me even though I use references. At first, I didn't know where to put the folds or where to shade it that's why sometimes I leave my art unfinished. But I really appreciate the tutorial! The folds explanation were really helpful too! The whole tutorial and your other tutorials were very helpful ^^ It was also very well explained, I appreciate it, and thank you again! :D ✨✨💕
you friggin genius. my artstyle is what i would describe as "sharp" with lots of pointy and jagged lines. it's kind of hard to make clothing. this helps like, ALOT.
Your tutorials go SO much further in depth about things, past draw this like me, you know? I've been able to point out where I'm lacking in my art, work on those things, and in turn improve in such a short amount of time. I don't have much money so it means a whole lot you put out entire lessons for free online. Thank you!
Okay why the hell did I spent a week trying to teach myself to draw folds when I could watch this? This is legit helpful I feel helped thank you so so much
I've been struggling a lot to make clothes look like clothes on my characters, and it often looks like the clothes are extremely tight-fitting. I really needed this video, and I also use Clip studio, so it's even more easier to understand for me!
This tutorial is so helpful Rina I cant thank you enough! You deserve to get way more subs, and likes on your videos! You put so much effort into all of your tutorials and i cant thank you enough for that! Edit: I just realized i got hearted!
It's like I'm in an art class , Thank you for the toturial I was actually planning to stop drawing because of school but watching your toturials make me learn about drawing and inspired me to try it out .Gladly we have holidays in our school that gave me more time to practice drawing😊
I can NOT thank you enough for this video! This helped me so much because I never added texture to clothing and I did the generic/weird puffy trope for thicc clothes (where the area near the wrists, hip/waste, and ankles were bigger like on mom jeans). All the clothes I drew looked bland because of it. After learning more in-depth in your video, all the clothes I make look so much better! I am forever grateful! 💖😆🙏
I was pretty stuck at shading, cloths and colors before , I even search for information but that didn't helped me much , until I stumbled on your tutorial and I easily understand !! Now I shade and draw so much better and finally feeling satisfied with my work ! Thank you so much for providing so much fun guides ! 💖🌟
I like that you explain everything and show arrows how to draw it, while other people put on music and just start drawing without explaining much. Thank you!
I was not looking for this, but it popped up as an ad and it was just so good I was hooked. I love your voice, the tips are Amazing and so thorough, and your video was just a pleasure to watch. Such beautiful art while actually changing how I think about clothes ha ha. Just beautiful. I love it.
omg I love this video so much!! I have this big art assignment in school and they never really told us how to draw this! Your video has been so helpful!! Thank you!!
Could you do a follow-up video to this one where you talk about coloring the clothes?💕 I feel like there's no video out there about coloring clothes into anime styles.
This tutorial was very helpful! It makes me want to practice drawing clothes on Paint Tool Sai ^v^ ❤ Thank you for making this wonderful tutorial Rina!
Rinaaaaaaa it's been a while since I commented because I've been a bit swamped with life. But thank you so much for this tutorial, it's so well explained and clear! Clothing folds are always a mystery for me, so this video is an absolute gem. Hope you have a lovely day!
Thank you so much. I have had trouble drawing clothes for a long time, and after watching this video I can improve more. I wouldn't be improving as I am now without your help! thank you
This is the first time I watched your content, Rina, and this video was SO helpful! Your art style is so kawaii, and you have a knack for explaining things in an easy to understand way!
oh gosh thank you so much >///< I do worry a lot about making all the explanations easy and clear. It means a lot to me that you guys thinks my tutorials are useful ♥
Thank you for this, I've been meaning to look up some tutorials on clothing and just happened to come across this linked on DA and had some time to watch right now so I did. I have been looking at references for clothing but I wasn't really getting what I needed to be able to just draw it, but your explanations have given me some other things to consider so hopefully I will start moving in the right direction. I mostly just like drawing fluffy tails so I've really refined that with some custom brushes I've adjusted over time and I can paint on hair/fur in a way I really like, but now I'm trying to catch up the rest of my artwork to try to get some kind of style that works with it.
Buenisimo!
