Repairing a Dump truck box (part 1)

- We have had this old International dump truck for a few seasons. It has had a rough box since we got it however it was really needing to be redone inside. So this is the process of starting from step one washing it out to the final when its complete.
I just did the same project on my 86 GMC General dump body.
It makes a big difference to not have a cut up and wavy box for sure! It was night and day after to Dump loads 👍🏻
@@dirty.diggers for sure. My box floor was in real bad shape and half of it had to be cut out.

We got this sheet metal from a local metal fabricating shop. If you don’t have one around possibly a work shop that orders some can get you some?? Depends what’s around you I guess.
Maybe cheaper to find another good used box instead.
Maybe even new truck 😆
