Cara. Your message was 4 mths ago. Me passing through here...if still unsorted...You need to partition a new storage area (s) in your hardrive....to create drive D, E...etc. Type in the Windows 10 Cortana search box...'partition'...Windows will guide you on quickly and easily...you can search the same keyword in RUclips for broader understanding.Cheers

I want to set my windows 10 comp so that when I resave a file in a folder in another format or with another name, from inside the file while saving it, it will save in that same folder and not 1,000 steps away so I need to search for the folder I am saving in. Actually, I will most likely have Windows 10 erased from my comp and replaced by my old Windows 8. Windows 10 is so inferior in so many ways, I am 99% sure the designers of it are purposefully trying to sabotage the company and it’s users. I have only been using it about a week and already I have discovered dozens of problems with it.

I would like to go my Windows 7 it was much easier to use and friendlier than Win10. One Drive, drives me crazy, every time I correct a file it saved, I have a lot of savings of the same file. Drives me crazy.

@@sheinaragners I imagine after this time you guys have found it, but for anyone still unsure, just click the 3 dots in upper right, then Settings, then Downloads and then the button that says Change, then select the new folder to use.
That's on desktop, idk if you can on mobile, although you can have it ask where to save.
