Very nice! I'm experienced in switching UK and US terms for crochet, so it is not a problem for me. But for beginner American crochet people a little note about the pattern being written in UK terms would be helpful. Because the same terms appear in both type of written patterns but have completely different meanings. This is a lovely pattern. I have lots of size 3 thread in my drawers of tatting thread. I used it for tatting as a beginner but now i use finer thread to tat. The 3 just sits. This gives me a use for it. Thanks.

These are fabulous Kate. I made about 20 for my daughter for care workers they loved them. In fact they asked if I would make more so they could offer them to all their care-workers. She works in a London borough and their services have been hit hard. I have now made 80 more with another 80 to go!!!
I’m not sure I should have started this!😂😂🌈x

Hi Kate, I think your video and clarity is one of the best I have seen. However I'm a little confused as it looks like to me you are using single crochet stitch. Can you advise please.

Single crochet is US terminology and double crochet is UK terminology. Hope this helps

Hi Kate.... I absolutely love your rainbow.
How many rainbows do you think that you would get out of a ball on average?
    Thanks so much Amanda

I love these little rainbows 😍 is there an alternative yarn that could be used? Having a bit of trouble getting all the colours and I'd really like to make some for work.

Any 4 ply or DK cotton would work just as well.
