  • Hello there, cellar dwellers! You can't judge a book by its cover, nor can you judge the contents of a box by the amount of holes the Post Office has kicked into it.
If you have a question, comment, complaint, or criticism, or would like to share (or sell) your collection, please feel free to write Tom at:
    herrwittmann@gmail.com
An email is the best way to get your question answered, because while Tom most definitely reads your comments he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section.

Your stories, the way you tell them, the drink and smoke breaks, paired with your expertise, are what make these videos. Please don’t change. Hope 2022 is a great year for you Tom!

I don't know why, but your Dad has a gift Rob, his video's have a soothing effect and are fun. I'm looking forward every week to see one.

That’s one of the best un-boxing’s I’ve seen yet. It’s not just the cigars or the drinks, but the utter surprise and comments Wittmann makes when he discovers this stuff. You gotta love this guy. You have been blessed sir ! Keep em coming !!

Wow Tom, I think that might be the first time a saw you take a step back on a box. That is crazy what they sent and how they sent it. It was really fun to watch!!!

Tom, love your stuff. You are the reason I love edged weapons. You sold me my very first sword and dagger and enjoy them tremendously. I recommend keeping it the way it is; no need for a ton of fluff. It reminds me of the times I have sat in basements with my buddies, sharing a drink, swapping stories, enjoying tobacco, and showing off our collections. If people do not like what you say, why do they watch? Just watch something else! Great job fellas and of course to Deb, who is always a pleasure to speak with.

We love to hear your stories Tom. Screw those who don’t, they’ll always be some pain in the ass you can never please. I for one enjoy them very much. I look forward to these videos and when my notification bell goes off I can’t wait to get home and watch them. Very soothing, relaxed atmosphere, and it feels like we are right there with you. The informal atmosphere, the drink, the cigar, and your vast knowledge are priceless. That last box was phenomenal. I’ll be watching for those items, and the photo album. Thank you so much. Keep them coming 👍👍

Wow wow wow what an episode. 1st great story! Unfortunately I can relate. 2nd there has to be a higher power to have some of the most beautiful 3rd Reich items ever produced survive being shipped in a box I wouldn't ship old socks in. Hope that nothing of importance slide out of one of the sides and everything made it to you. I've been holding off on getting my left eye done for the same reasons you did and I appreciate your input. Thanks again for another entertaining and Informative evening free of covid news. My best, Gene

This could be the best Down the Cellar so far. I really love your stories. I don't collect bayonets, but that honor bayonet is super cool.
