Short video today, been busy and 4th game took wayyyy too long to fit in an hr video. But, Six is actually the nuts. I actually recommend going up to 3rd copy, but haven't tested it. I tested Natural order before this one, but as it turns out, the deck requires way too many sacrifice requirements now that we have flare of cultivation. Once upon a time is gone too because I think flare of cultivation synergizes better with Six and Grist.

...everyone was saying that the green flare was the best flare, and they still are now. Altho tbf, that was mostly the modern community so for arena watchers it makes sense that you might not know how broken it is
Very nice video and very fun and good deck! What about jet collector instead of six or plus six for more ramping, and an easy way to reanimate creatures?
The finality counters with jet collector are pretty rough. I tried it in at Chthonian Nightmare deck and the ramp is nice, but exiling the creatures suuuuucks
@@jamesowens74 that is true, but I'm afraid it'll probably fall under rakdos ritual storm again that requires graveyard to storm off, which hasn't been doing well as of recent due to surgical. I'll try to think of something if I can.
it's been some time since I played yawg + the deck having new cards I've never played with before coupled with just being tired in general 😂I was contemplating on redoing the whole video but the turn 1 flare into six were so good I just kept it in.
you could say that about any creature decks really. I don't think boardwipe also prevented people from creature decks either. You'll probably lose 2~3 creatures from fury and they have to exile a card from their hand for the cost. If they reanimate you'll probably lose 1~2 more creature since you wouldn't have that many creatures on the battlefield to begin with after the first fury. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. Yawg was still a top tier deck in modern even when Fury existed.

Have you tried a yawgmoth list running birthing ritual in historic ? Seems pretty good to me and I also saw one perform at a Modern Challenge
