Maybe a pair of 25kg Eleiko plates alone is more expensive than the squat rack already. Haha. Great stuff. Miss those days you train with Clarence and Eoin.
Great content! You should talk about how you got into weightlifting and perhaps some of the stranger exercises you have done in your career for preparation
what baffles me is that amateur power lifters all get expensive power racks that attach to the wall, yet weightlifters only need stands. I guess different needs
real talk, i would only recommend squat racks with weight Plate Pins if you are lifting heavy weights.racks with pins are the only safe and stable ones for home workout
That's a funny remix of mortal kombat. The rack seems to hold! I wonder if there's some kind of fatigue possibility for the metal or if it's just a conservative safety range.
Just purchased Squat Stand from Citizen Fitness Subhash Nagar Delhi in just Rs3800/-. Max load capacity 450kg with 2 yrs guarantee... It's really heavy..
Don't understand why they'd market it for 150Kg. I'm trying to buy a small squat rack and reading it can only handle 150Kg makes me think it's some sort of flimsy product which I'm not gonna buy. Seeing this kinda proves otherwise. Bad marketing of just safety issues?
@@XXLRebel companies usually recommend using lighter than what it can actually hold. Its better to promise less than to get your hopes up. Also when they advertise it to its real maximum weight people might really test it to its limit and can injure them leading to law suits filed against the company which will cost them so much.
I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
I just bought one of these. Desperately needed something to squat off of. But no room for a cage. Are the bottom safety spotters adjustable? Because it would be great if I can bench off of it as well
@@gsincraian I just got it, and I agree... I don't know how much over 200lbs I'd really put on this thing. When the J cup arms are all the way down I'm sure it can hold the 550lbs it says it can. The spotters, probably half that. But when they are fully extended to squat.... idk. I'm gonna try putting 200lbs on it today and hope for the best. But for $50 bucks it does everything I need and tucks away in the corner nicely. I'm not going for any records or anything else like that, so for my needs its perfect
Hello, Gabriel, hope you see this comment. Could you please tell me the thickness of the stands frame? (1,5mm ? 3mm?) I am going to purchase one squat stand in Amazon which says (200kg max load) and I would like to compare to yours to see whether it is true. Keep on the great content, man, you are a beast. Best regards from Spain
@@gsincraian Yes, I mean the thickness of the frame/iron. I think I am going to build my own squat stands with 4mm frames. I will show you. Thanks for answering, beast!

Glad you decided to do your vids in english, it's more than good enough.
Squatting 180 kg in flip flops this guy is a legend

A single 25kg plate
Excellent squats! Love seeing ppl squat with perfect form.
Ivan! Wassup
Ivan! I still have the tab open from your video today! I'm looking for a compact squat rack, great to see you.
I love that he’s using a simple living room detached squat stand and a bar, with Eliko bumper plates haha
I use a stand just like that. It was cheap but has done what I needed for about 5 years and I continue to use it.
your technique on squat is amazing much respect 💪🏻
You are a great man and a great athlete, and your humility is unbelievable, thank you

Great that you started posting content about lifting in english, especially about home training etc. Just subscribed. Thank you!
Nice video! Stay safe and strong Gabriel!!
Beast mode I need that in my room
The astonishing part is that the speed of the squat remains the same despite the weight, impressive
I just ordered mine, thank you so much for your video
Good stuff Gabriel. I like the content.
I was thinking about ordering a squat rack too:')
@@gsincraian would it be good for bench press too, in your opinion?
Just bought this rack and I’m about to use it, loved your setup
What make rack is it?
Loved the weighlifting slippers
Teach us how to squat and deadlift in the next videos!
Usually things like this have a safety factor, so it's normal for it to hold more than 150kg. How much more and for how long, that is the question.
I’m going to get a set of these, seems sufficient and space savings is huge!
yes
Hello Gabriel, what are your goals for the future? Thank you for speaking in English

If you're going to exceed the "safe" weight of the rack... check the quality of the height adjusting pins and/or the bolts... :)
great content Gabriel, thanks. I think I am too bent over in my back squat, do you have any tips on how to progress to a more upright back squat?

I think they way you squat should be taught in schools ! Best squat ever
Love seeing a great squat 💪
The start of the video gives an ominous tone, haha
I think we need to see more videos about how you increased your power in Olympic weight lifting , increasing strength is easy increasing power is hard
As long as it holds the weight and doesn’t collapse, it’s a good enough rack in my eyes 🤷♂️

Looks great whats the height from the ground to the bar?
Can you tell the proper dimensions of this squat rack?
Nice video. Where can I buy this?
What about the mini spotter bars? Do you think you could put the weight safely on those instead of at the top?
What are those steel bars where you hang your bands? Are those supposed to be safety attachment?
How much did you pay for the rack?
BTW, nice plates.
Good one you don’t necessarily need an expensive power rack to get a good work out.
