I liked everything about it, very serene with beautiful plants all over the place. But seeing the out of order log carts in the workshop killed the whole mood.
Though kinda crude, the theming of the plants, waterways, rockwork, etc. all really feel like an actual jungle river. especially that massive waterfall you ride over, genius.
I like the way they make the landscape. Nice to hear nothing but the sound of running water, the sound from the ride's impact, and the sound of birds. No loud music.
The fact that they give the illusion of being in some fantastical jungle river while being in a city park is VERY impressive. Or, can you give me a better example?
I love that during the cave part, the ONLY thing illuminated is the grimy service exit and concrete stairs. They go out of their way to take you out of the illusion lol
I love that it seems so natural but also so industrial. The bit with the waterfall and the buildings in the back was kinda beautiful but then ride was bizarre! Having all those disused boats just piled up in sight of guests and the boat itself looks like it’s falling apart. Then when it went into the dark I actually felt a bit scared 😂 and that massive drop!!
@@souffle01 im guessing Timber mountain log ride at knotts is cheesy for having themed elements that go with the rides layout? dont see anything wrong with what I suggested. you may hate it but others would love to see alittle more.
rexrabbiteer The timber theme at Knott’s works because that’s the theme of the ride. So riding a log through the saw mill is perfect before the ride gets even better. I would love to ride this one. It seemed very peaceful and serene. An early part of it reminded me of a scaled down drive on I-70 through Glenwood Canyon. Even the buildings in the distance lend a theme to this ride. “Civilization encroaching on the jungle.”
This is really pretty. They did an amazing job on the landscaping, despite it being in a city! For a log flume, this has some of he best scenery I’ve seen, most rides of this type are bright blue or green, and do nothing more than build up the drop.
Looks very nice! I'm not really a fan of log flumes, but this has such beautiful scenery! I wish there was a world where everything was this peaceful and scenic.
@@nozominous2956 there pretty safe as long as you follow the damn rules and everything and if u have any health or heart problems don’t get on the damn ride
I have a video of me and my friends going down the big drop on this ride during a field trip, it’s actually a great park and I suggest visiting it. It has replicas of many different things from around the world like the pyramids and Mount Rushmore and they are really well made! Though the log flume might look a bit old, it’s still really well made in my opinion.
Everything about the ride looks incredibly run down But that also lends it this unintended but gorgeous rustic aesthetic when I saw that shot from the top of the waterfall I fell in love with this ride’s layout.
I lived in Hong Kong for almost six years and never visited Window on the World. Now I wish I had. It's a cool ride with a few surprised along the way. And a five-minute ride, too! Log flume rides in the US don't last anywhere nearly as long.
Creepy? More like beautiful. Natural scenery isn’t appreciated too much in theme parks. This is a good example of a ride that was gorgeous without the need for building anything excessive, other than what nature provided. All this ride really needs is some better lighting in the caves, some polishing around the dirtier areas, and for the log flume cars to look less trashy. Maybe that ride operator could put a smile on his face, too. EDIT: Oh ok lmao. The video title was originally named “Creepy Log Ride In China” but it looks like enough people complained that the uploader removed the word creepy. Carry on 👏
WOW CHINA 🌏😃😄.THIS WAS COOL🤤😃😃😃. THANKS GUYS FOR TAKEN US ALONG. I LOVED IT! 😍. looked SCARY for a second but then SUPER COOL 😎. MUCH LOVE from Florida Belinda Long 😁
I think that was the shortest drop I’ve ever seen! As somebody who prefers small thrills with TONS of aesthetics, this looks like fun! Except for those obviously piled up log carts, way to ruin the immersion 😑
Thought the same thing, but this isn't Disney or Universal so, ya, but it wouldn't have hurt to build a split track they could change to make broken or damaged logs go down to a repair shop away from the ride, but it is kinda funny too so, kinda even.
@@cleanwater3180 not even. make it even simpler....have the logs be removed a certain way but have a “hidden” door that looks like it’s part of the scene. When they are taking logs out they just have to open it and close it before guests get back in. I say door and hidden in very loose terms. A curtain and having it look like a decorative hut would have done the trick to be honest.
It is actually a scenic and beautiful flume ride. Just need to conceal the views of the skyline with more shrubbery and tress so it may feel more like an authentic jungle setting
I love the elaborate brickwork and heavy landscaping! However, the tropical illusion is shattered by the maintenance areas and, most of all, the impossible to ignore HIGH-RISES!!!
That actually looks like a great ride with no animated bunnies or other animals, the snakes and rats are all real! I would not hesitate to go on this ride. Really cool.
The ride vehicles look like they'll capsize at any moment, the water will give you hepatitis, there's more concrete than the Hoover dam, yet somehow this ride has undeniable visual appeal and I keep coming back to this video.
I wouldn't call it "creepy" and other than the buildings you see at times, it looked more like a rain forest than an urban jungle to me. The boats were in bad shape and needed repainting, but that was really all I noticed.
There's something romantic about it... I like that its quiet and peaceful. It doesn't need much to be enjoyable. If I was with a loved one riding this, it would be a sweet moment.
This ride is definitely more beautiful than any flume ride I've rode before. What looks so dangerous? Besides maybe someone being ignorant and thinking it would be a good idea to get out of the boat and climb one of the close walls..
Thank you for the video. As much as I love my major theme parks, I love the sweet and intimate parks that always seem “mom and pop” owned. The ride looks like it needs a little LTC, but it still has a very nice aesthetic.
This is so weird. Everything about this ride looks so wrong it’s actually really interesting. Why am I feeling so complex about a ride vid? Nice job filming btw 😊
They really went all out making that look like it was really in the mountains and jungle even had there river next to it china very cool disney could learn a thing or two about themes from you guys
This actually seems amazingly well designed in terms of the layout and scenery. But it really needs to add some things throughout to look at. Other than the 1 crocodile, there's nothing other than the plants and walls for very long stretches.

This takes up quite a bit of real estate. A bit bigger than bamboo chute at Astroworld. I always enjoyed that one. I noticed people mentioned how sketchy it looked. Compared to other rides it’s pretty tame and simple. If it leaks and doesn’t float, it will only sink a couple inches and just roll along on wheels. Other than completely collapsing, not much catastrophic to go wrong. Not impossible, but not likely. I did see a “log jam” on bamboo chute. Biggest issue was people trying not to get wet. If they had just stepped out, it would have been solved quicker. It will probably be replaced by a larger, faster attraction. ( pending survival of humans )
I liked everything about it, very serene with beautiful plants all over the place. But seeing the out of order log carts in the workshop killed the whole mood.
I love seeing a bit of behind the scenes.
At first I thought it was part of the scenery...
You know, like those are the "malfunctioning" ones and your ride suddenly goes faster...
@@buggart it's the workshop area where they can take boats on or off

The maintenance sucks! That log looked terrible as did a lot of the rocks
