You’re right , my doctor said to me one day “ the dust will still be there when you get to it “ don’t let it ruin your day . I know she could afford to pay a cleaning lady , but it was doctor advice for her patient , it helped me .

I got teary eyed too. It brought me back to the days when I was a young mom. I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my kids and it can be very overwhelming on a good day, much more so when outside factors such as illness and weather play a part.
A few thoughts: *Rosie's embroidery is most impressive. She has a creative touch and skill beyond her years. *Your dog is very sweet and obviously very much loved. Allow him to help you to shed some stress, by just petting him and enjoying him. *Happy to hear that faux plants might go. Real plants ROCK! *Your home is truly a home...not perfect, but that is what makes it wonderful. *You border on being overwhelmed. Please be kind to yourself. It makes me nervous when you climb on chairs and counters, while being pregnant. Do rest more and clean less. *Know that eventually spring will come again. Weather that you've been having, along with a broken furnace, is a real stressor. *Give yourself permission to not add RUclips to your already heavy load. Your community of people will wait until you are ready and well enough to return. *Sending to you, thoughts, prayers, positive vibes and much love.

My ancestors lived in Iowa and were pioneers. One night two of them went out to visit the cobbler in a snow storm and on the way back they fell into a deep ditch and died. I guess the blizzards are really bad there.
Aww, hang in there Mama, it will get better! I am so sorry to hear that your family has been so sick. I can only imagine just how rough it's been for you trying to keep it together. Us Mama's can sure relate. Bronchitis can be really bad on its own. I fractured a rib coughing so hard and so did a coworker. We watch your videos because like I've said before...you are real and show it. No one can relate to the crazy perfect, always clean, perfect family youtubers. That's why we can relate to you. Invest in a generator since you're up north, but in the meantime weatherstrip your doors and windows. You'd be surprised how much heat you'll retain. You can always use towels beneath exterior doors and in windowsills and use painters tape around unused exterior doors and around the windows. I used to hang blankets over windows, if needed. Rosie, your needlework is absolutely beautiful. You should be so very proud of yourself! 🩷💜🩵

I am in Ontario, Canada, I feel ya about the cold and snow, it’s definitely a learning experience. It will pass. My daughter has 3 small children, it’s always messy with toys etc, it’s fun to see how much fun they have. Take care of yourselves, cut yourself some slack and embrace one another. Kristen being from the middle of Nebraska I know how long and tough those snowed in, freezing winter days can be. And with all of you not feeling well and everything seemingly being against you with illness, your furnace and car, you are bound to be overwhelmed. NEVER feel embarrassed by your home....you live there with all your beautiful family! I love the white bedding on your bed and the simplicity of your cozy home. Winters where you and I live can be long...especially with getting dark at 5:00. If your girls have had extra tv time, are making messes and no doubt having fun, it's all okay!!! They will remember those days more than anything. I will definitely be praying for everyone to feel better and for the weather to warm up. Please take care of yourself and don't be so hard on yourself. Give yourself grace and know that you are doing your best and NONE of us think any different of you. I remember going through this time in 1978-1979 winter. I had a newborn and a 17 month old and we live in the country. It was horrible and scary. I am so glad to see you are all on the mend. Having small children is a time when it seems like one illness after another happens, especiallly when they start school. Sharing of the germs.

Kristen , sweet Kristen , no one in your situation wouldn’t feel overwhelmed by all the piling on of stressful, frightening problems that you didn’t have any control over . My mom had 10 children ,(11 full term pregnancies ) and I only had 2 children , I don’t know how she did it !!! I spent all 34 weeks of my pregnancy uncontrollably vomiting…hospitalized twice for severe dehydration….never missed taking my then 8 year old to school, picking her up, dance and music lessons….I consider myself a badass even now 22 years later lol!!
I’m still looking at and enjoying my undecorated Christmas tree. It’s very cold here in South Carolina and I love seeing the lights twinkle on it! I’m in no hurry to bring Spring ahead of its time.😉 I enjoyed seeing your home. Thank you so much for sharing.😊

I feel for you. I live on the prairies in Canada we were down to -56 for 3 days then - 26 with wind chill making it -40. We are finally back to - 20 with lots of snow. Keep warm. We will pray you all are well and warm. Let the kids make a pillow fort and the mess they enjoy make it a fun family time picnic in the front room make good memories in this horrible time.
Wow Kristen! We are definitely praying for you all! As I'm a little older than you, I remember a snow storm here in Central Indiana in 1978. I was only 3, but I still remember it! From what I was told, three actual feet of snow fell in just two days. The drifts were over the doors. I remember my dad shoveling snow into the bath tub to see out of the door. He eventually got our snow mobile out to check on some neighbors, and the wind began to pick up, and it was a complete whiteout. He had to find a fence line, and hold onto it to get to to find a house. He finally found a home of some kind strangers that took him in until the storm let up again. I understand how frightening it came be! The Lord will take care of you all. Just rest in Him.💕

We lived in N Dakota for 5 years (military family) and the wind, snow and ice storms even out the Maine Nor’ Easters to shame at times- when a snow storm/cold weather shuts down a military base, you know it’s bad- so I understand the fear for you and your family! When you or Rosie no longer use her pillow cover on a pillow, have it placed in a frame or shadow box by textile preservers so it will be able to move with Rosie when she has her own home and pass down to her children. I have been covering you and yours in prayer throughout watching this video.
I live in rural Iowa, these winter storms were a real challenge!!! Waterloo set an all time record for snowfall in 5 days at 23.9 inches. The windchills were terrifying. Our heater went out at 2 am, but we have accumulated a few electric space heaters over the years. Luckily the next morning we were able to reset the heater. My kids are grown and gone from home but I remember the fears of having the furnace or power go out, worrying whether I could keep them safe. I will keep you and your family in my prayers!!!❤
Don't worry about anything. Cleaning is a never ending story and with the kids home. . .impossible. You'll catch up when they get back to school. You've had one crisis after another so give yourself time to relax and enjoy your family. You're still getting over your sicknesses and it leaves you weak so don't stress. Do the basics and catch up later. Stay warm and healthy.❤

Ohhh sweet girl I'm so sorry you all were so sick. All 3 of my grandchildren had RSVP in December. And I definitely know how it feels to have acute bronchitis, i usually end up with it once a year. Many times its turned into pneumonia, i have first stage COPD. I've pulled muscles and pretty sure bruised ribs lol. I actually pulled muscles so badly the lower part of my abdomen was solid black from the bruising. But I'm so glad you all are feeling better! We just gonna pray that ALL sicknesses leave your home🙏 Rosies pillow is the cutest, great job! The girls are just the cutest🥰 I promise I'll start praying for you and your family right now.. listen you have kids so the house is not gonna be perfect and we don't expect that do don't let that worry you! Aww Kristen, you sweet girl. It is okay to cry, and sometimes a good crying spell can be just the therapy that is needed. This is life, and yes, life can be hard, life can be frightening, but by the Grace of God, we forge ahead and see brighter days. You have done an amazing job of taking care of your little ones, your hubby, and your home, all while being super sick yourself. Give yourself the same grace that you give to others. I try not to tell others what to do, or give unsolicited advice, but here goes😂, my Mom had six of us ( 5 girls, 1 boy), and she always said that on snow days, or out of school days, she would only allow us to play, craft, etc., in one room only. That way the rest of the house was clean and organized. She said that it was easier picking up one room as opposed to several. She also created a box of things that we could do and keep busy with. She called it "organized mess"😂😂😂. But, you are doing a phenonenal job Mama bear. Your babies are sweet, happy, safe and loved, and so are you❤🙏🏼
Don’t be hard on yourself. When children are young life is messy. Appreciate them while they are young. Just love the season you are in, my kids are all grown and I miss those days. You are doing great ❤

I wish your break was full of rest and family and joyous memories; however God knew you needed the break to deal with your family’s health issues without the stress of work weighing on you. When I see your “before I see I home filled with love and happy children making fun memories in their home that they fell comfortable to do so. I don’t see a mess. No one’s home is ever perfect, not ever. Don’t put that pressure on yourself to show a “picture perfect” home, because that’s not real. Show what is real like you always do. That’s what I love about your videos. You don’t fake it, you are real and true and honest. The very best thing is that you give all the glory to God! You all will continue to be in my prayers. I live in Alabama, and tomorrow my kids are FINALLY going back to school after a 10 days worth of snow days and ice delays. It has been a nutty start to the year. My daughter has come in our bed most nights and I got so emotional just watching her sleep because I realized these days had been a gift from God to slow down and really soak in time with my family. It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be to be home with all of us for over a week, and I feel like I did during the pandemic. Oh Kristen, bless your heart. I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina & 3 mornings ago I woke up to a sheet of ice on everything. We couldn’t do anything either. Plus, my hubby & I have also had terrible colds, just like what you have described. The temp fell below freezing Thursday evening. Temps have been in single digits & teens with horrible winds. I know how afraid I was, but I can’t imagine snow up to your kitchen window! Plus 3 precious babies in the house & a sick hubby. Like you, this year hasn’t started out so great. However, you & I both know Who our Protector, Comforter & Healer is. In a week we will both look back and realize how Jesus got us through this time. A sweet nugget you can focus on, is the amazing memories your girls are creating. Trust me, when they are your age, they will be talking about this very time & all the fun they had creating forts, snuggling while watching movies with dad and having you there making sure they were taken care of in the midst of this crisis. Remember, greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world. Precious girl, I am 71, hubby is 78, and my house is a mess right now too. Guess what? It ain’t going nowhere & nobody is being injured by it. So, grab another warm cup of coffee or tea, throw a movie in, pop some popcorn & snuggle together. You are all in my prayers. Iam so sorry for all the trials you’ve been through . Jesus is right there with you try not to stress so much about the house being so clean right now and just rest more and do a little at a time. I use to Have my children pick up after themselves after they were done playing or if it was bedtime. They never gave me any problems about doing that they just did it and it made things easier for me. I also didn’t let loose make messes in every room . Either there room or our tv room but like I said they always had to pick up after themselves . Rosies embroidery is exceptional for her age ! So beautiful. Great idea about the stain windows came out great. I live in Maine and we’ve been having some pretty mild winters but there was one February about 5 years ago we had 3 back to back snow storms. I drove patients to doctors and had to drive in it. God truly protected me. The snow was so high everywhere there was no place left to put it. They did manage to keep our roads plowed but people’s homes were like yours. Just stay warm and cozy and calm rest in the lord and all will be well. Please don’t climb on chairs I was a nervous wreck! We all love you this too shall pass. 🙏🕊❤️😘💐

I got teary eyed too. It brought me back to the days when I was a young mom. I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my kids and it can be very overwhelming on a good day, much more so when outside factors such as illness and weather play a part.

*Your dog is very sweet and obviously very much loved. Allow him to help you to shed some stress, by just petting him and enjoying him.
*Happy to hear that faux plants might go. Real plants ROCK!
*Your home is truly a home...not perfect, but that is what makes it wonderful.
*You border on being overwhelmed. Please be kind to yourself. It makes me nervous when you climb on chairs and counters, while being pregnant. Do rest more and clean less.
*Know that eventually spring will come again. Weather that you've been having, along with a broken furnace, is a real stressor.
*Give yourself permission to not add RUclips to your already heavy load. Your community of people will wait until you are ready and well enough to return.

My ancestors lived in Iowa and were pioneers. One night two of them went out to visit the cobbler in a snow storm and on the way back they fell into a deep ditch and died. I guess the blizzards are really bad there.
Aww, hang in there Mama, it will get better! I am so sorry to hear that your family has been so sick. I can only imagine just how rough it's been for you trying to keep it together. Us Mama's can sure relate. Bronchitis can be really bad on its own. I fractured a rib coughing so hard and so did a coworker. We watch your videos because like I've said before...you are real and show it. No one can relate to the crazy perfect, always clean, perfect family youtubers. That's why we can relate to you. Invest in a generator since you're up north, but in the meantime weatherstrip your doors and windows. You'd be surprised how much heat you'll retain. You can always use towels beneath exterior doors and in windowsills and use painters tape around unused exterior doors and around the windows. I used to hang blankets over windows, if needed. Rosie, your needlework is absolutely beautiful. You should be so very proud of yourself! 🩷💜🩵

I am in Ontario, Canada, I feel ya about the cold and snow, it’s definitely a learning experience. It will pass. My daughter has 3 small children, it’s always messy with toys etc, it’s fun to see how much fun they have. Take care of yourselves, cut yourself some slack and embrace one another. Kristen being from the middle of Nebraska I know how long and tough those snowed in, freezing winter days can be. And with all of you not feeling well and everything seemingly being against you with illness, your furnace and car, you are bound to be overwhelmed. NEVER feel embarrassed by your home....you live there with all your beautiful family! I love the white bedding on your bed and the simplicity of your cozy home. Winters where you and I live can be long...especially with getting dark at 5:00. If your girls have had extra tv time, are making messes and no doubt having fun, it's all okay!!! They will remember those days more than anything. I will definitely be praying for everyone to feel better and for the weather to warm up. Please take care of yourself and don't be so hard on yourself. Give yourself grace and know that you are doing your best and NONE of us think any different of you. I remember going through this time in 1978-1979 winter. I had a newborn and a 17 month old and we live in the country. It was horrible and scary. I am so glad to see you are all on the mend. Having small children is a time when it seems like one illness after another happens, especiallly when they start school. Sharing of the germs.

I spent all 34 weeks of my pregnancy uncontrollably vomiting…hospitalized twice for severe dehydration….never missed taking my then 8 year old to school, picking her up, dance and music lessons….I consider myself a badass even now 22 years later lol!!

I feel for you. I live on the prairies in Canada we were down to -56 for 3 days then - 26 with wind chill making it -40. We are finally back to - 20 with lots of snow. Keep warm. Wow Kristen! We are definitely praying for you all! As I'm a little older than you, I remember a snow storm here in Central Indiana in 1978. I was only 3, but I still remember it! From what I was told, three actual feet of snow fell in just two days. The drifts were over the doors. I remember my dad shoveling snow into the bath tub to see out of the door. He eventually got our snow mobile out to check on some neighbors, and the wind began to pick up, and it was a complete whiteout. He had to find a fence line, and hold onto it to get to to find a house. He finally found a home of some kind strangers that took him in until the storm let up again. I understand how frightening it came be! The Lord will take care of you all. Just rest in Him.💕

We lived in N Dakota for 5 years (military family) and the wind, snow and ice storms even out the Maine Nor’ Easters to shame at times- when a snow storm/cold weather shuts down a military base, you know it’s bad- so I understand the fear for you and your family! When you or Rosie no longer use her pillow cover on a pillow, have it placed in a frame or shadow box by textile preservers so it will be able to move with Rosie when she has her own home and pass down to her children. I have been covering you and yours in prayer throughout watching this video.
I live in rural Iowa, these winter storms were a real challenge!!! Waterloo set an all time record for snowfall in 5 days at 23.9 inches. The windchills were terrifying. Our heater went out at 2 am, but we have accumulated a few electric space heaters over the years. Luckily the next morning we were able to reset the heater. My kids are grown and gone from home but I remember the fears of having the furnace or power go out, worrying whether I could keep them safe. I will keep you and your family in my prayers!!!❤
Don't worry about anything. Cleaning is a never ending story and with the kids home. . .impossible. You'll catch up when they get back to school. You've had one crisis after another so give yourself time to relax and enjoy your family. You're still getting over your sicknesses and it leaves you weak so don't stress. Do the basics and catch up later. Stay warm and healthy.❤

Ohhh sweet girl I'm so sorry you all were so sick. All 3 of my grandchildren had RSVP in December. And I definitely know how it feels to have acute bronchitis, i usually end up with it once a year. Many times its turned into pneumonia, i have first stage COPD. I've pulled muscles and pretty sure bruised ribs lol. I actually pulled muscles so badly the lower part of my abdomen was solid black from the bruising. But I'm so glad you all are feeling better! We just gonna pray that ALL sicknesses leave your home🙏 Rosies pillow is the cutest, great job! The girls are just the cutest🥰 I promise I'll start praying for you and your family right now.. listen you have kids so the house is not gonna be perfect and we don't expect that do don't let that worry you! Aww Kristen, you sweet girl. It is okay to cry, and sometimes a good crying spell can be just the therapy that is needed. This is life, and yes, life can be hard, life can be frightening, but by the Grace of God, we forge ahead and see brighter days. You have done an amazing job of taking care of your little ones, your hubby, and your home, all while being super sick yourself. Give yourself the same grace that you give to others. I try not to tell others what to do, or give unsolicited advice, but here goes😂, my Mom had six of us ( 5 girls, 1 boy), and she always said that on snow days, or out of school days, she would only allow us to play, craft, etc., in one room only. That way the rest of the house was clean and organized. She said that it was easier picking up one room as opposed to several. She also created a box of things that we could do and keep busy with. She called it "organized mess"😂😂😂. But, you are doing a phenonenal job Mama bear. Your babies are sweet, happy, safe and loved, and so are you❤🙏🏼

Y’all are in my prayers ♥️It sounds like y’all have had the identical thing I woke up with Christmas morning. Sick for 2 weeks and now me and hubby have Covid. Thus I’m awake at 3AM. God Bless y’all ♥️What weather and temperatures to endure. But such a beautiful blessing for you all to be together thru it. Your home is beautiful and so filled with love. And I cried with you when you talked about your neighbors. So heart warming! Lord don’t be embarrassed about the windows. They didn’t look dirty. Life and babies and such supersede cleaning. I’ve been there a few times. Had 3 babies in 4 years and loved every minute of it. Had some crazy hairy days but wouldn’t change it. You’re making beautiful memories for all♥️Love and prayers to you and yours

What a sweet video! I was tearing up as you were, with the uncertainty of when the snow would stop. It looked very high from the inside of the window. I missed your videos because they always pop up on Sundays. You deserve your time off. Making these for your viewing audience shouldn't be a stressful project. Your home is Gorgeous and your Daughters are precious! That's a big beautiful house and we just care that you're all safe. It couldn't have been easy for all of you being sick. I was balling. 😢I paused the video and prayed for you and your family and lifted you all up. I wish your break was full of rest and family and joyous memories; however God knew you needed the break to deal with your family’s health issues without the stress of work weighing on you.
When I see your “before I see I home filled with love and happy children making fun memories in their home that they fell comfortable to do so. I don’t see a mess. No one’s home is ever perfect, not ever. Don’t put that pressure on yourself to show a “picture perfect” home, because that’s not real. Show what is real like you always do. That’s what I love about your videos. You don’t fake it, you are real and true and honest. The very best thing is that you give all the glory to God!

Love you so hard girl. Those tears are real and I am praying for you and your family. Thank you for asking. I live in Alabama, and tomorrow my kids are FINALLY going back to school after a 10 days worth of snow days and ice delays. It has been a nutty start to the year. My daughter has come in our bed most nights and I got so emotional just watching her sleep because I realized these days had been a gift from God to slow down and really soak in time with my family. It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be to be home with all of us for over a week, and I feel like I did during the pandemic. I was just thankful for the extra time at home to love on my kids and husband. I am so sorry your weather is very scary. I pray everything is better for yall so soon!
Oh goodness! May the next month be easier! I loved all the perfectly imperfect moments of watching your family just live in your house. More of that! No need for perfection. May February be filled with wellness.

Oh Kristen, bless your heart. I live in the mountains of Western North Carolina & 3 mornings ago I woke up to a sheet of ice on everything. We couldn’t do anything either. Plus, my hubby & I have also had terrible colds, just like what you have described. The temp fell below freezing Thursday evening. Temps have been in single digits & teens with horrible winds. I know how afraid I was, but I can’t imagine snow up to your kitchen window! Plus 3 precious babies in the house & a sick hubby. Like you, this year hasn’t started out so great. However, you & I both know Who our Protector, Comforter & Healer is. In a week we will both look back and realize how Jesus got us through this time. A sweet nugget you can focus on, is the amazing memories your girls are creating. Trust me, when they are your age, they will be talking about this very time & all the fun they had creating forts, snuggling while watching movies with dad and having you there making sure they were taken care of in the midst of this crisis. Remember, greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world. Precious girl, I am 71, hubby is 78, and my house is a mess right now too. Guess what? It ain’t going nowhere & nobody is being injured by it. So, grab another warm cup of coffee or tea, throw a movie in, pop some popcorn & snuggle together. These are the days your heart will truly ache for one day. I love you like you were my own daughter. Be safe, warmer days are coming. 😊❤😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Have my children pick up after themselves after they were done playing or if it was bedtime. They never gave me any problems about doing that they just did it and it made things easier for me. I also didn’t let loose make messes in every room . Either there room or our tv room but like I said they always had to pick up after themselves . Rosies embroidery is exceptional for her age ! So beautiful. Great idea about the stain windows came out great. I live in Maine and we’ve been having some pretty mild winters but there was one February about 5 years ago we had 3 back to back snow storms. I drove patients to doctors and had to drive in it. God truly protected me. The snow was so high everywhere there was no place left to put it. They did manage to keep our roads plowed but people’s homes were like yours. Just stay warm and cozy and calm rest in the lord and all will be well. Please don’t climb on chairs I was a nervous wreck! We all love you this too shall pass. 🙏🕊❤️😘💐
