I liked Kaidan. Yeah, he wasn't exciting, but Ashley only had the space racism to make her interesting. And Ashley was a fighter which I already was in my playthrough. I needed something else.

Jules I really appreciate the words of wisdom at the end of your videos. Being 30 and losing my parents as a teenager was extremely difficult. Even though some may think your words are hollow I dont. Keep up the steadfast work my friend.
Massively agree with the BL3 deaths. Never played the first one but Roland's death in two still made an impact, yet although I mained Maya in 2 hers just felt like lazy, empty storytelling.
I completely agree. In fact, I was GOING to buy 3... until I learned about Maya's death. Now, I not only refuse to play the game, but I straight up refuse to accept it as canon. As far as I'm concerned, 3 is shitty fanfiction.

Adam Fenix's death had a lot more impact if you'd read the Karen Traviss Gears of War novels before Gears 3 came out. Not only did it mean I kinda saw Dom's death coming, but it actually means (because the games delve pretty hard into Marcus and Adam's father son relationship in places) that Adam dying was a suckerpunch for me, if only because I knew just how hard it would hit Marcus. Seriously, peeps, if you haven't, read Karen Traviss's Gears of War novels and play back through the first 3 games. WHOLE different experience. :)
Looking at you Anthem. Seriously, wasn't the excuse as to why Mass Effect Andromeda was so bad was because they took the budget for it, and gave it to Anthem? And the game still turned out to be a stinker!

I’ve played mass effect trilogy 8 times. I make different choices each time but I’ve only picked Ashley twice. Kaidan is just better especially it 3rd game.

Kaidan may not be the most compelling character ever, but at least he wasn't bugged in ME3, nor the victim of a horrible redesign. Though neither Kaidan nor Ashley were often on my team, unless I was playing a human supremacist Shepard (Wrex+Garrus for a Sentinel Shep, mostly, or Tali when facing Primarily Geth). And I liked Kaidan a damn sight better than James Vega (although watching the animated film helped a lot there).

Actually, the Star Fox crew do not have robotic leg. This was confirmed by Nintendo themselves. On another note, while Slippy is not my favorite member off the Star Fox crew, a lot of people forget he was the one who deigned the Landmaster.

After reading the absolute warzone that was mass effect legendary edition statistics comment section, I've deduced you're insane or ballsy. You mentioned you'd kill kaiden every time and even wrote a song. People are still arguing over this today violently. For stepping so close to this without fear you've earned my absolute respect. Also yeah. Killed kaiden too. Mainly because in my first run I found them insufferable in the future games. My mum passed 7 weeks ago, very hard time. Just spending my Christmas with my dad now, quite dreading really. I love my dad but mum was the heart of Christmas. It's easy to say keep in going but even when mum was alive I felt pretty empty and now I don't even have her to talk to. Oh well at least I've got an Xbox series X although not got the ps5 yet
Claves of Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell. They had her murdered after two dungeons in ES - she's the lover of Jazz and rival of Falsetto. It doesn't make it clear that's the case unless you talk to certain people in their base. You barely have them in the team and only the vaguest of info. Claves is stabbed by her former mentor Rondo for failing to be a good spy for the enemy and left to bleed out - it takes her about 10 minutes to die, repeats scenes that are barely an hour old and then she wastes that time whining before sending a bird out with a message re a fellow spy. They tried to pull an Aeris/Aerith but failed miserably. It would have been better if Claves and her team were introduced earlier in the story and we had more time with them, perhaps it would have worked. In addition, dropping the flashbacks of only just past events would have made the scene better paced. Dear me.

Glad I listened to your explaination for Bill not mattering cause i remember playing The passing and meeting the other group and finding the dead bill made my heart hurt a little. Mainly cause Bill was the leader and my Fab character. I enjoyed his personality but I can agree the sacrifice did take away the feeling. But I also grew up playing both and was part of the Left 4 dead 3/Half life 3/Any value game ready for its third confirmed when it was huge

My mum passed 7 weeks ago, very hard time. Just spending my Christmas with my dad now, quite dreading really. I love my dad but mum was the heart of Christmas. It's easy to say keep in going but even when mum was alive I felt pretty empty and now I don't even have her to talk to. Oh well at least I've got an Xbox series X although not got the ps5 yet

Claves of Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell. They had her murdered after two dungeons in ES - she's the lover of Jazz and rival of Falsetto. It doesn't make it clear that's the case unless you talk to certain people in their base. You barely have them in the team and only the vaguest of info.
Claves is stabbed by her former mentor Rondo for failing to be a good spy for the enemy and left to bleed out - it takes her about 10 minutes to die, repeats scenes that are barely an hour old and then she wastes that time whining before sending a bird out with a message re a fellow spy. They tried to pull an Aeris/Aerith but failed miserably.
It would have been better if Claves and her team were introduced earlier in the story and we had more time with them, perhaps it would have worked. In addition, dropping the flashbacks of only just past events would have made the scene better paced.
