Wow the fighting was intense especially with Ahadi. He seemed more hurt than Uru. Because the girl he loved so long now just confessed that their relationship was a lie, and his love for her was never truly returned. Imagine loving someone for so long, finally marrying them, and than learn that they don't actually love you. That really stings. And although he was taught by his parents bethrothal was normal, his mistake was not paying closer attention to Uru's feelings. She shown so many signs and hints, but Ahadi just never got them. He focused only on his love for her, but not her "love" for him. And Uru, being forced in a relationship is never easy, in fact it can be emotionally damaging. Relationships like marriage should be based on true love and trust not duty. And she was not given a choice in the matter. But she should have been honest with Ahadi rather than leading him on for this long. It got too far once Mufasa entered the picture especially and could affect him as well. Ahadi is not a bad guy and he truly meant no harm despite his harsh words, mainly uttered from a broken heart. As for Rehema, I totally feel that he is right for Uru and yep saw it coming that she would mess around with him. Rehema is understanding and observant, and he wasn't someone Uru was forced to love. She could choose with him. However this is truly forbidden fruit, not only will this union lead to the birth of the lion we all come to know as Scar/Taka (according to the book) but Uru is putting Rehema in a sticky situation and not being honest with him. This could put him in danger should he and their relationship be found out. And it's not like Rehema is trying to take Uru from Ahadi. He doesn't know, Uru is keeping him in the dark. What if they ran away together? Hmm I think that matters not in the end, only how deception, secrets and betrayal have carried on for this long. Anyway great story, very interesting and amazing.

Dang. Both are neither in the right. Ahadi shouldn’t have said what he said, despite it being harsh and the truth. And as for Uru….she should’ve talked to Ahadi about her feelings much sooner instead of bottling her emotions and making it seem that she did love him. Because she hurt him and is gonna hurt him even more when Taka is born. It wasn’t Ahadi’s fault for what his and her parents did. Though, in a way he was correct, Mohatu could’ve easily left her family to die and prevented all the heartache that was to come. I also really feel for Uru. She deserves every right to be happy, but she and Ahadi went around everything the wrong way. She should’ve communicated as soon as she could and he should’ve checked in on her instead of being all “everything is fine” And knowing Mufasa’s future…..it really hurts since it could’ve have been so avoided if there was communication and if Uru hadn’t acted so selfishly, lied and cheated.
i want to say how much i like the series! i've read it since it was on deviant art and its awesome to now hear a dub for it. also i'm loving the whole channel's content as well! especially that theory on scar! you have great talent on character construction and analysis!! this is so satisfying to watch and hear! keep it up i cant wait for more content!

Tbh her falling for a darker maned lion is kinda realistic sense in real life the darker Mainer ones are more attractive because they have higher testosteroni
So...Not only is Uru a cheat but she's a liar too... Poor Taka... Yes...Rehema was there for her when she needed someone and yes, Ahadi should've reconsidered her feelings at the time but she should've really communicated better, be more honest and none of this would've never have happened. But that's what I think anyways and I still love this comic when it first came out.
I'm sure she thought her feelings wouldn't have mattered, and people would judge her if she spoke the truth. And the ceremony was already done, so she probably felt it was no point.

And now that the veil of your relationship is down, you have the FREAKING GALL to act like you're the only victim of this, to act like she's the villain for something that she had NO CHOICE but to accept, that she's never cared about you in the slightest when one of the reasons she put up with all this was to not hurt you like that? And then say that if that's how it is, then Uru and her should have just gone off and died?! So uru's cheating on her husband with another lion? Thats just wrong. I understand that arranged marriages are unfair, but this is no way to solve that problem. Thankfully they arent as common as they used to be. She shouldve told ahadi that she didnt feel the same or at least her mother so this mess wouldnt happen.
Such an intense scene, and I feel horrible on both sides: On the one hand, Uru had been forced into a marriage since she was born, just like Ahadi, regardless of her feelings and stripping her choice away in the matter, yet held back her emotions for her best friend's and the pride's sake, but the second she saw history repeating itself with her son, she snapped, rightfully and finally said what needed to be said. On the other hand, I can't blame Ahadi either, since he clearly loves her and NEVER knew she didn't return his feelings, and that's not his fault for not knowing, since Uru was never honest with him about her feelings, so having Uru throwing back his love for her back in his face and basically being spitted that she doesn't love him back must have been heartbreaking. That being said, both of them screwed up badly in here: Uru shouldn't have kept the truth from Ahadi for so long, and very less express it in front of the Pride in such a tactless way, and Ahadi did wrong too, both in trying to bethrode their son assuming that just because he is happily married with the lioness he loves, his son will have the same fate AND for basically saying Uru is ungrateful to him for not loving him back because it benefited her family and that she would be better off dead with her pride if she didn't love him at all. It's all a huge mess based on lack of communication, and it's brilliant how well writen it is.
@@RedPandaGirl002 No, she isn't, not in the slightest, she is just a lioness that got trapped in a terrible situation by her mother's and her best friend's parents' decision about her life without giving her a choice in the matter to solve their political problems and she didn't know how to get out of it or even ask for help. Obviously Ahadi isn't to blame either because he didn't know, but Uru's reaction is perfectly understandable.

Even if Taka was a little bit rude, but deep down he is a good lion, even if he became evil when he grew up. in this comic, he was attracted to hatred by what he himself could go through, which was uru, but not quite, but quite another.

Because I know people will hate Ahadi, He is def in the wrong for his last comment. But Uru is also in the wrong. What did she expect Ahadi to think when she married him, gave birth to his child, and literally did nothing to prove him otherwise? Uru: My king doesn't respect me Uru has lied to him for years, but he doesn't respect her? He gives her space and it doesn't seem like he has forced her to do anything. She's constantly crying and moping, which is justified but holy hell, this could've all been solved if she just spoke to him. She continue to let him assume without proving him otherwise. I'm sorry she doesn't get to pick out her life, but her talking to Ahadi about her true feelings could've helped her be so much more happier.

Uru never "met" Ahadi, though - not organically. She and he were betrothed by their parents. She literally had no opportunity to ever not know who Ahadi was, nor he her. And betrothals aren't for love. They're arranged for some kind of mutual gain. In this case, it was a joining of families to end their fighting forever. The situation isn't a black and white one. No one is 100% right and no one is 100% wrong.

Yes...Rehema was there for her when she needed someone and yes, Ahadi should've reconsidered her feelings at the time but she should've really communicated better, be more honest and none of this would've never have happened. But that's what I think anyways and I still love this comic when it first came out.
I'm sure she thought her feelings wouldn't have mattered, and people would judge her if she spoke the truth. And the ceremony was already done, so she probably felt it was no point.

And now that the veil of your relationship is down, you have the FREAKING GALL to act like you're the only victim of this, to act like she's the villain for something that she had NO CHOICE but to accept, that she's never cared about you in the slightest when one of the reasons she put up with all this was to not hurt you like that? And then say that if that's how it is, then Uru and her should have just gone off and died?!
I get that this is upsetting and Uru really should've communicated how she felt better, but that does not excuse your unwillingness to understand her words or decisions and your implied demand that she should be happy just cause of everything else!

Such an intense scene, and I feel horrible on both sides:
On the one hand, Uru had been forced into a marriage since she was born, just like Ahadi, regardless of her feelings and stripping her choice away in the matter, yet held back her emotions for her best friend's and the pride's sake, but the second she saw history repeating itself with her son, she snapped, rightfully and finally said what needed to be said.
On the other hand, I can't blame Ahadi either, since he clearly loves her and NEVER knew she didn't return his feelings, and that's not his fault for not knowing, since Uru was never honest with him about her feelings, so having Uru throwing back his love for her back in his face and basically being spitted that she doesn't love him back must have been heartbreaking.
That being said, both of them screwed up badly in here: Uru shouldn't have kept the truth from Ahadi for so long, and very less express it in front of the Pride in such a tactless way, and Ahadi did wrong too, both in trying to bethrode their son assuming that just because he is happily married with the lioness he loves, his son will have the same fate AND for basically saying Uru is ungrateful to him for not loving him back because it benefited her family and that she would be better off dead with her pride if she didn't love him at all.
It's all a huge mess based on lack of communication, and it's brilliant how well writen it is.
How would you describe Uru? Is she selfish, rude, ruthless, irrational, and intolerable?
@@RedPandaGirl002 No, she isn't, not in the slightest, she is just a lioness that got trapped in a terrible situation by her mother's and her best friend's parents' decision about her life without giving her a choice in the matter to solve their political problems and she didn't know how to get out of it or even ask for help. Obviously Ahadi isn't to blame either because he didn't know, but Uru's reaction is perfectly understandable.

Cuz to me, I think THAT would have made Uru's life WAY better and she should have met Rhema *first* instead of Ahadi. And therefore, NONE OF THIS would have happened! Would you agree?

Even if Taka was a little bit rude, but deep down he is a good lion, even if he became evil when he grew up. in this comic, he was attracted to hatred by what he himself could go through, which was uru, but not quite, but quite another.

Because I know people will hate Ahadi, He is def in the wrong for his last comment. But Uru is also in the wrong. What did she expect Ahadi to think when she married him, gave birth to his child, and literally did nothing to prove him otherwise?

Uru has lied to him for years, but he doesn't respect her? He gives her space and it doesn't seem like he has forced her to do anything. She's constantly crying and moping, which is justified but holy hell, this could've all been solved if she just spoke to him. She continue to let him assume without proving him otherwise.
I'm sorry she doesn't get to pick out her life, but her talking to Ahadi about her true feelings could've helped her be so much more happier.
Though to be fair… this rendition of Ahadi is much more loving and respectful than most versions of the character, right? 😅

Uru never "met" Ahadi, though - not organically. She and he were betrothed by their parents. She literally had no opportunity to ever not know who Ahadi was, nor he her. They were promised to each other to make a political deal to unite their warring families.

And betrothals aren't for love. They're arranged for some kind of mutual gain. In this case, it was a joining of families to end their fighting forever. The situation isn't a black and white one. No one is 100% right and no one is 100% wrong.
