Older than Ultramarines, the have access to plasma weaponry unlike any other chapter.
Borbali They can get old. They just don't get weaker with age and instead become stronger and more experienced. That's why a veteran space marine is so dangerous and respected.
Actually, the Ultramarines were the strongest chapter prior to the intro of the codex that split up the legions. At the end of the heresy they are said to have numbered about 250,000. Lore suggests a portion of the manpower from the 2 missing chapters of the first founding went to the Ultramarines. Post-codex, they still enjoyed a numerical strength that others didn't, at least until their home system was attacked by the Tyranids. They have a their own empire of many planets also. Others don't.
If you don't involve the Custodes. And, as i'm aware, where you got the idea that their names are Anathema to the warp is flawed information. That name belongs to the Emperor, whom Daemonkind actually refer to as "Anathema", which means to hate or detest someone or something. That's official lore behind the Emperor, not the Grey Knights.
@atechpriest The Tau don't travel though the warp in the first place. At the moment, of what I know, they don't have to big of an area in space to need Warp space to get there. But then I would also think that they would make something that didn't need warp space to travel vast distances when the time comes.
I'm pretty sure the movie was on a cheap budget which was why it was animated (it is easier to make an animated movie than to use CGI on a live action movie). In order for WH40k to have a successful movie is to have GW to give a WH40k license to a wealthy movie producer, although I still don't see that as a successful way to make a good 40k movie since most of the popular movie producers like Disney and Hollywood wouldn't be able to make a great 40k movie. The only option I see for GW is to give it to a New Zealander movie producer as they are known to make movies that are in the same category as Warhammer 40k
The Ultramarines is one of the first founding space marines legions. The Grey Knights were founded founded after the horus heresy, they are only soldiers of the Ordo Malleus. There is little to no information on them. Their chapter master Azrael is a psyker that walks into battle with the helm of lion'el johnson next to him. A relic that most if not all chapters aren't even close to having. They are the oldest, most honourable, and loyal to the emperor. They are true spacemarines. The reason why ultra is looked at as so amazing is because they have been known to take on tyranids whereas dark angels predominantly hunt traitors and legions of chaos.

while i loved this movie, I thought the animation was great, and the battles were awesome. My biggest problem, is that this entire movie was made to pander to the smurf marines already over-inflated ego. I mean come on! A whole company of Imperial Fists get wiped off the map, and a single squad of novice smurfs, just out of scout training waltz in and waltz back out basicaly? No. Would never happen. Period.
Yeah if something manages to successfully defeat an Imperial Fist bastion, then a single squad with an Apothecary and Captain isn’t exactly going to be enough. Remember that the Imperial Fists are the masters of defensive warfare, no one can defend a position better than them.
@@ShadowGhost0117 In the movie the Demon intentionally allowed them to escape so that he could get onto the ship with his eyes set on Macragge. That is why he allowed that small squad to progress so much. He could have wiped them all out no problem but that would be detrimental to his plan

@xrp3robot It is never really explained why humans hate aliens so much especially when they have common foes
I want the soundtrack
So were they dueling with combat knives? I’m still a bit new on 40k fluff, and I can only think that those blades were combat knives.
Eliot O'Boyce
Ah, okay.
Looked more like gladius (gladii?). The ultramarines have that Roman theme going on. Space marine combat blades are comically large because of how big the space marines are but the way they were using them seemed more like actual swords. Maybe short swords.
if the huds inside of their helmets are that confusing i can see why some guys go in without them
U must be steel U must be doom You must use everything you got!
And yet among the Ultramarines' honor roles, Terra does not appear... And it wasnt just cause the Ultra's were coming it was because the Ultras, the Dark Angels, Space Wolves and what was left of the other legions were coming.
well, they happen to have more than one planet. Justified that their homeworld is a capital and Roboute Guilliman build the empire (plus it's nicest place to live in Imperium).
space marines do get old, just alot slower than regular humans. the captain is probably like 400 years old, maybe more!
may vid ka din ba ng full movie neto??
