Mike Mentzer: "Think of the dip as the upper body squat. You cannot beat it. It is the best pec exercise in the world, the best shoulder and tricep exercise."
Parallel bar dips are great but I'm not keen on these so called Gironda dips where your hands are rotated inwards. There's youtube Videos of Larry Scott doing them...
Comes down to genetics. I did 6.5 years in prison and we had access to weights all the way up to 495lbs. One of the best backs Ive ever seen the dude would do chin ups everyday for about an hour. He only did sets of 3 reps but they were perfect. He didn't count sets or rest times between sets. Probably did 500+ chin ups a week. The rest of him was average just huge lats and middle back. Best chest i asked him what he did. Literally shrugs his shoulders and says "I don't know pushups?" Best environment I've ever trained in though it's extremely competitive and people talk about working out all day they get obsessed with it. I had 4-5 years of training experience when I went in so I was benching 225lbs. for 12 reps in the first 6 weeks. Guys been there for years asking how Im getting so strong when I just got there lol. Just muscle memory. People trained crazy heavy too. Doing doubles on bench press for 10+ sets etc.
I rebuilt my whole physique on body weight exercises in 2021, post covid. They are unbelievably effective done with volume/frequency. I make sure to always incorporate them now
I sometimes go months without having access to the gym. I do workouts from home with my bodyweight and some small equipment like dumbbells. I can maintain my physique just doing that. Having flashy gymequipment and working out in the gym everyday is not needed.
Pretty much all you need, I have a small gym setup in my third bedroom, squat rack, flat bench with a barbell and free weights with an echelon bike and a Marcy gym setup. Don’t need much
IT depends on your goal. for body building a gym is required even if it's a home gym. for just having a fit athletic body it's not needed. push ups and pull ups and some dumbbell work takes care of it all
Nice car dude, the white camero is looking sweet. Thanks for the advice, it's easy to get wrapped up in our own personal goals & forget the outside world. The wolf creek bloke was fkd right up......remember 'Chopper' the film too.😂....all the best Lee. Love ya vids man.
Easy to say bodyweight exercises are under-rated when youre over 250. But under 200 and id say youre better off with weights i could do 112 push ups in two minutes but i weighed 125 forever. I went from rotc to weight training in football and after 3 months i was 145 but couldnt barely rep out 50 push ups
First two weeks caistenics in the qaurenteen cell for two weeks no cunt had COVID I recon they did it so if you smuggle drugs you take them first then come down in mainstream

I could’ve brought my old VC Commodore here, it’s a stroked 355! Cars are one of my hobbies outside of the 26yrs training I’ve done 👍.
NGL I had some good workouts in drug rehab!!!
Take your missus for a walk and your dog to lunch. Lol
