Woody McClain is my new favorite actor. I first got familiar with him through watching The New Edition Story. This production really showcases his talent as an actor and I would say it is his breakout role. Little did I find out later he's actually a comedian too and was a backup dancer for Chris Brown. He also is a musician. They picked the perfect guy to portray Bobby Brown and yes after watching his story come to life on the big screen, I too have a newfound respect for Bobby Brown. I grew up listening to his music little did I know one day there would be a biopic about his life and his marriage to Whitney Houston. I loved her music too growing up. Tragic story but also one that is inspirational and I'm so glad he is still alive today to tell his story. We love you Bobby B 💝 and I love Woody McClain too hopefully one day I get to meet you guys!! My condolences to the Houston and Brown family may Whitney and Bobbi Kristina rest in peace 💝
This was a great movie. So glad that people get to see who he really is, and not just the ghetto, thug, bad boy image the media loved to show. This man grew up with both parents, is very close to family, has a lot of stable people in his life, and is a super great and engaged father, with some wonderful and intelligent, thoughtful kids. I love it, and so glad he has found peace, serenity, focus and true love. So glad these stories are being told.

This man has had an interesting life. A lot of lessons learned. Bobby has calmed down so much. What maturity will do. Also this should be a lesson for all...Never judge a book by its cover. He looked rough around the edges but he loved hard. The way he was painted wasn't his entire being. There are so many facets to one's personality. Not just 1 thing. Never judge another.
