Does the 2014 equus have this same release cable? The car comes with the tool but I can't find the cable in trunk. It's not in location. My emergency brake operating lever came off while replacing a stud and now I can't hook it back to the cable.
@AutomotiveDiagnosis yea I don't see one. I see the tool and I see the hole where it would go but no cable I it. Would u happen to know how to release tension from the emergency brake so I can attach the brake lever back on? Seems like the emergency brakes are slightly on as the cable is kind of tucked in and the car has a slight hold if moved when wheel is back on.

I don't remember any release cable like this on Equus.

Hi did you ever find out if the EQUUS has a location to manually release the EPB?
@wilbertmoo-young7932 There is a procedure in the hand book that released it.
Hi does anyone know the location to use the tool in a n EQUUS? It's not in the trunk.
👍🏻👍🏻
