Second: there are many Avenged Sevenfold songs I think you'd like (at least ones I like better) As far as the gory, to me, the song and video are portraying how violent history has been all through the ages and how people have been abused and killed at every stage and how people (the audience) just seem to revel in it and we never learn from our mistakes. Then finally the audience is in the show being killed because didn't wake up to what was happening, that the people in power are still doing the same things. Hahaha... Now apply that to the thumbs up/thumbs down like/dislike here on youtube to decide if someone channel lives or dies and the fate of their popularity. There's nothing new in the world! I think its fair to say you guys have been requested the songs with that are very concept heavy especially with the videos, most of their videos have a theme or story but aren't gore centric and I do feel like the videos are taking your attention away from the actual music (please feel free to correct me in that regard) . I would recommend going with their softer singles like Seize the Day , Dear God or So Far Away or some of their harder but more accessible tunes like Hail To The, Afterlife or King or Shepherd Of Fire
