Estonia fought to reestablish their Estonian Republic and independence from Russia for many decades. They retained an exile government, and a gold reserve in London, and even an embassy in Kopenhagen, that issued Estonian passports! Estonians are an example to the world actually, is my view. (I'm Swedish, and had friends who went to the Estonian school in Stockholm.)

I don't want to downplay your contribution, because it's EXTREMELY important. At the same time, these numbers do sound huge, and I want to put that into perspective:
There are 43 million tax payers in Germany (excluding corporate taxes), which, for that 576 million, comes out as Euro 13.4 per person. That sounds much better.
The real cost of this war is in other places, like the higher prices for natural gas, or, what those 576 million could have been spent on if only Putin didn't think the largest country in the world was too small.
But again, thanks to you, and to all Germans ❤

The great irony of this war is that if Putin had chosen to invest the -hundreds of billions- trillions of rubles lost in this war in creating a true infrastructure network, getting plumbing, electricity, and food to his people, and making Russia's education system world-class, Putin could established Russia as a real global player and truly have gone down in history as one of Russia's greatest leaders. The most ironic thing he's said is that the fall of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century.
Instead, he's decided to one-up that event and literally burn the country's future to ashes.

Housing is expensive because everyone has low rate mortgages and do not want to sell and have a lot higher payment. Cars are expensive because the auto companies are trying to build EV businesses and their costs are higher. Used cars are expensive because people are driving them longer and the supply is low. Gas prices are not bad and Biden will release more oil to keep them low! Want more jobs? Get MAGA Mike to put the Senate aid bill on the floor. That will create at least 150,000. There are plenty of jobs in most trades if you have the skills. Watch for a lot of infrastructure projects this summer from Biden's infrastructure law. If you take drugs, you will be paying less because of Biden and the Democrats. And, by the way, it was Rick Scott who put a bill on the floor to sunset Medicare and Social Security every five years. If you are a Democrat, repeat what I just said to everyone. If you are a Republican, wake up, you will be paying more under Trump.

$300M per day is $109 BILLION per year. That doesn't include the cost of the loss of thousands of lost warplanes, helicopters, tanks, armored vehicles, howitzers, trucks, electronic warfare, ships etc that will need replacing. I estimate their losses here to be another $100B at least. Russia will need to fund these huge losses at the expense of the civilian population. Eventually with the sanctions effect and the loss of oil & gas revenues by the Ukrainian attacks on the refineries Russia will have to steal money from the civilian budget which means more sick and early death Russians.

When it starts to warm up drain openings are still frozen up and the water can be everywhere. Then it freezes again and there are major ice ruts, potholes and frozen mini-lakes all over the place. It also looks disgusting because all of the sand and litter shows up in the snowbanks at the side of every road. It's just a fact of life here. In the United States we have storm drains that connect to culverts to run water to rivers and away from roads and land. Our roads are paves with a slight curve so water runs away and down into the ditch. Ditches line most roadways to take that water away and again to rivers and waterways to distribute the water how it naturally would. All of the pipes are underground for a smooth and natural look.
Because we have so many flat lands here where I live in the Midwest sometimes our fields get bogged down with water but farmers do there best to tile their land to irrigate the water away. Still things get pretty saturated pretty quickly, so if we didn't have the system the way we do we would easily be waterlogged.
The Russians are just stupid to let that shit go on. They ruin anything and everything they seem to touch. Our nominated republican candidate to be president would be a great addition to that nation. He ruins everything he touches too.
