I'm a proud Bisaya myself. I'm one of those who is not tired of educating people that Bisaya is not a dialect BUT IT IS A LANGUAGE. Yes ,I'm a proud Filipino but proud of my Bisaya root as well as our Bisaya language. And I'm so proud of Felip because, although there are a number of Bisaya artists in the Philippines, he is one of the few who verbalizes his being proud as a Bisaya. Though other artists show it like speaking the language and singing Bisaya songs, only Ken so far as I can recall, who expresses it in words and action, who always say that he is proud of his being Bisaya.
