I'll admit it -- Everytime I see and listen to Foles post-SB victory, it brings tears to my eyes. Not just for the incredible ride he provided, but the fact he is a such a good person, you cant help but be happy for his success. His career was a roller-coaster but when given the chance to play in Philly, he was spectacular. I cry tears of joy for so many folks in the Greater PHiladelphia region, including my father. It meant so much to so many for the Eagles to finally win. Thank you to Nick and Chris!
Nick is the greatest Eagles to have played for us. He won a Super Bowl and nobody else has done that. However this man also tied three single game records as an Eagle. Until Jalen or the next QB wins two, Nick Foles is the GOAT.
@@williamslaughter7474 Call it what you want. It's my opinion and I'm sticking with it. Until another Eagles QB does what Nick has done. Nick is the GOAT.
My first child was born in the middle of the 2017 season. I watched every game that season and held my son while my sister and I watched Nick Foles bring us to the promise land. It was truly one of the most magical times of my life and I will forever be grateful. Honorable mention to Carson Wentz for playing like a monster until his injury that season.
Yeah man. I too will never forget where I was when the clock finally reached 00.00. I will always think of family and friends that would've loved to see it happen when they were alive. So much more than just a game.
I dare anyone to name a better performance from a QB in a championship game then into a SB. You can't. God gave Nick the strength to give our city our first SB and to make history! Thank you #9! Forever a legend in the city in Philadelphia!!!
That hour and a bit flew by. I can't wait for the falcons game and Nick to get his flowers. That stadium is going to be insane. You're both the best thanks Chris 🦅💚
Im not sure if its just a bias because being an Eagles fan, I hear alot of former eagles players talk but - the amount of players that have played on multiple teams that then end up being eagles fans after retirement seems to be telling of what it is like to play for the eagles compared to other orgs. Would love to hear a player take on this
Yeah I hear that a lot too. Many players have played for Philly, and when the leave they regret ever leaving. It's the fan base that gets a bad rap, but that's far from the truth. Loyal to the soil.
Shout out to Carson Wentz who was the MVP that season and got us the 1 seed and in the position to win that Super Bowl. Nick made some of the craziest throws in that Super Bowl that I ever saw, BG came in clutch too. That team was a team of destiny and I would love to see a movie made about it.
2017 was so special. I am forever grateful. Foles had the best game of his career on the biggest stage against the greatest Qb ever and won. I can’t wait til someone makes it a movie
Ill Never understand the Eagles Fanbase hating on Wentz, Without Wentz playing the way he did that year we don't have a SB. That 17 team was so special. I can remember when Chip Kelly traded away Foles and how angry I was. Foles is such a great dude and a Hell of a Player that played the most perfect game I've ever seen and it was in a Superbowl. Wentz was a damn good QB but I don't think anyone could've played as good as Foles played in that SB. That was damn near Perfection. Man That 17 Team was so much fun even as a fan that was the best year ever
Personally I dislike 2020 toxic Wentz...the Wentz who could not handle competition from a backup despite the team commitment to him...the Wentz who tried too hard and made too many mistakes but refused to be coached...the Wentz who demanded a trade at the end of the season after he was benched due to piss poor play during a lost season...2016-2019 Wentz was great though...that guy was a magician in the pocket...
Winning that superbowl was the most "Philly" thing ever.. our backup qb comes in and makes the run... being underdogs the whole way...and then to outduel and beat Brady.. the goat.. to win the superbowl...... absolutely legendary.. Thank you Nick...
Favorite memory; watching the Eagles win the Super Bowl with my 21 yo son. He tragically died by suicide the following year. So grateful for that game and the memories it gave me with him.
Chris always shows so much love for Philly even though he only played a small fraction of his career here. People who like to joke about Philly being terrible fans just don't get it. Guys like Chris, guys that want to maximize everything they can do and the paychecks are the bonus, that's what we cheer and boo about. All you have to do in Philly is show you're trying, and we'll love you.
I love how locked in Chris is just listening to everything Nick has to say, not to interrupt him with a new thought or question. Great interview of 2 of my favorite Eagles
Nick is responsible for one of the happiest days of my life. Endless cheers to that dude. He seems like an endlessly humble and good dude. He deserves all the goodness coming his way.
I live in Cincinnati, but I have been an Eagles fan since I was 11 years old. I think one reason I love this team so much is because of the team chemistry and how well the organization is run. I will always be grateful to Chris and Nick and many others who brought the Lombardi Trophy to Philly!💚🦅💚🦅
This is Great. Im 55yo and still cant watch the Eagle SB victory again cause i wanna save it. I loved Nick in 2013 and never forgot that season he had -7 TD's in 1 game!. When Wentz went down I said "maybe Nick will come to finish what he started. And Man did he...bless ya Nick !!
Nick, and Chris too obviously, I want to give you guys my heartfelt thanks for our lone Super Bowl victory, so far. Even if we another Supe, or 2, 3, 4, the first one is always the most memorable as a long, long time fan ... I'm older than dirt. :):) I've been a big fan since I was 8 years old in 1963, post our national championship in 1960. A lot of the younger fans forget how terrible we were until Dick Vermiel showed up and even then we had to wait another 37 years to finally raise the trophy. But you know what? No regrets. Winning like we did in that fashion and against the Evil Empire? ... Chef's kiss. Goof luck in all your and your families endeavors. Go Birds!

As a former Chicago Bears fan, I loved having nick foles in my team’s qb room. Loved cheering for nick. And even though the end was so bad, I enjoyed having you on my team. Especially when you were idgaf nick. Thank you for shouting out exactly what I’ve been saying Justin fields needs.
What a class act!! Foles was the only person in the world who could have stepped in to lead us to the promise land. I really like how he explained the process they went through in the QB room after Carson went down. It’s crazy to think that Chris was only on the team for two years because in my mind, he feels like such a leadership presence for that era. I love that he still has a strong connection with the team as well. In my eyes, it just feels like he was with Birds a lot longer than two years, which just shows the impact he had on the team and how much of a leader he truly is. Great interview!!!
Its insane to think that Nick's daughter who he brought on stage after the super bowl is 7 now and that super bowl season was already 7 years ago lol. AND he's just now retiring.
Chris and Nick ……. Top Shelf! It was hard for me to adjust when I retired from a career in the Military and in Law Enforcement. A lot harder than I thought it would be. I seem to be on a good track finally.
As an eagles fan for 30+ years, Foles is a top three eagle of all time, some can argue #1. A humble guy, absolutely balled out when he was on his game. Love this man
I would honestly have to say that should go to McNabb...yes he did not manage to win a super bowl...but he gave us a chance for most of the years he was on the team and despite what people try to say he carried the Eagles a lot of times...Nick is definitely on the mount Rushmore of Eagle greats...but it would be disrespectful to just dismiss McNabb and his contributions to the city and team...
He is a Super Bowl MVP, he tied an NFL record 7 TDs in a game but he could have thrown 10 this man is a Philadelphia legend, I wish my father was alive to see that win.
Finally someone gives Chip some slight credit for the offensive creativity that still shows itself to this day. I understand the hate for Chip as a GM but he was a good coach.
I honestly think coordinator is the best job for him...he was a terrible head coach in the NFL...and he wrecked our team despite any success we saw...he was also incapable of adjusting well hence the second half collapses almost every game...up tempo was a double edged sword for us and Chip Kelly never understood that...not to.mentiom he got rid of Shady and DJax...forever an unforgivable transgression...
He was a good play designer. He was too arrogant to be a coach. He thought his plays were so good that he didn’t need talented players and shipped away D Jack and McCoy for nothing. Killed that team with those moves.
Such a great interview. As a die hard Eagle fan, I'm biased. But I've been waiting for Foles to go through the SB and life before and after. Great interview.
Nick Foles of all people having that playoff run to deliver the first Super Bowl for Eagles fans is the most Philly thing ever.
When Nick was on he played like the greatest QB of all time, absolutely crazy player
Absolutely. One of the craziest careers of all time. He was either playing like a HoFer, or a backup. There was never an in-between.
Couldn’t agree more. Hall of famers need to analyze this man
