Great Vlogs mate, I had the pleasure 22 years ago when I was a young fella of living in Dunedin , not quite the arse of the country lol, I spent a year in NZ and managed a hunting trip in Jacksons bay & Hokitika , it was one of the best moments of my life, after travelling extensively across the globe I’m know now that NZ was possibly the best country I’ve ever been to, the diversity across the land is unbelievable. keep up the good work & greetings from Ireland
The bloke with the extra-long beard, as opposed to every other bloke with an ordinary beard, is an Ace cook. Blimey, cherries in a BBQ rub on spit-roast pork! In the bush on an island at the bottom of the world! Impressive effort. Josh, your vids have got better: better music, better shots, better editing. Classy work, well done. 👍
Another outstanding hunting video... in a whole different league from others on You Tube - no one goes to so much trouble with the edits. Can’t wait for Part 2! Gratitude and respect, Josh...
Rather than putting petrol on your plums I heard the best way to get rid of them was to pull the front of your gruds out pour in some whiskey followed by a hand full of sand and the little buggars get pissed and throw rocks at each other.
Josh answered this question in another comments section. Insurance paid out but only because it was insured as a commercial vehicle. He went and purchased a 2nd had hilux if I remember correctly.
Great video. Got to see my first Kiwi bird in the wild, Goodonya mate. Really fun trip Brush hunting, love it, what I grew up with. Smell 'em before ya can see them.
You missed the track down to the beach, I was yelling at the tv “go right”😀 Forgot what it was like to be a newbie at CTB, we went over the hill rather than round the rocks first trip, never again. Fantastic block. Shot a nice buck on that little beach in the narrow gut.
The pauas = ridiculous! The meat feeds = Mean, Masculine! The lifestyle = The dream! The Kiwi footage = Legend! What a rare and awesome experience for any filmographer, amateur or pro, to capture footage of a kiwi in the wild! = Exclusive, Special Like the semi muted christian music too. Great vlog!
Spirit lead me from hillsong. One of my favourite song... i knew u liked worship music hahah nahhhh mean mahi bro would love to come for a hikoi with you 1 day. Love ya work and missing nzed like crazy because of your randomness an honesty for life and the kiwi ways.... mean bro blessed
Trumpeter in beer batter is the biz I had to swap two back legs off a white tail with some local fishermen for some and a couple of dozen oysters. But it was worth it. We feed some tourists walking around the island and they came back two days later for seconds❤🍴🍻🍻😬😬
Cant make out if you live to hunt or hunt to live ....their certainly wasn’t much time in between the cooking and eating to do anything other than get the next meal sorted out ..living the life ...👍👍
Just got back from Stewart Island day before yesterday for the first time - An absolutely stunning place, not there to hunt but I did see a nice wee dear 1.5m away behind a bush... its the animals island not ours haha
Josh going old school with the swanndri. I still have my 1978 vintage one. In good shape but can’t compare to gore-tex and merino. Just for around the section now.
Any chance of getting a review of the 450c. Im in aus and Im thinking of buying one, but there is no reviews or marketing for this boat. And I cant drive down to the factory to have a look either. Cheers
Bro just watched one of your new videos, and comments are turned off. I'm an engineer/ welder, and I'm working on a charter fisherman's gates soon, he's offered a ride out and I'd happily have your company, Raglan, West Coast, mid North 👍

Post a link for a good inflatable boat setup.. we need something we can put in the undercarriage of our bus to fish and crab without towing it👍🏼👍🏼
Some awesome feeds, and great scenery and camp life, but, i didn't see any Whitetail hunting skills, just snipering from distance, and off the boat
Yeah, I got a bit lazy on this trip. Was more of a lads trip for me than a hunting trip. Bit of mental health fixer uppering
Amazing video
