Don't think so Gunn, they must have cut the grass down so short and it died in a week of hot sun/no rain...tusen takk!

Another case of the church Christianising a pre Christian sacred site.
I am guessing the church was built using the cairn material.
Lovely wee find David, it looks very atmospheric.

Yes no doubt, the church has been in ruins over 400 years now so it's really ancient too.
