As a 30yr westcoast boy that's mixed... never dealt with real racism personally either.. I work with an (late 50s) older black man that swears he gets followed everywhere by police in his porche and constantly watched because he's a black guy in an expensive car. everyday the guy passes me on the freeway doing 100mph after work.
There was this investigation into 'driving while black' to see if black people would disproportionally get pulled over. They did, however they were also disproportionally speeding.
If the police get enough calls on somone speeding day to day around a certain time, they WILL wait at the right point and time to get you or check the plate on the vehicle. I'm white and i got pulled of going 34 in a 25 and the 2 days before i heard someone yell slow down both days and they had a cop hiding down a side street the 3rd day because they called obviously. I don't say I don't see color, of course I do. However it is not something I factor in when assessing my first impression of a person. There was this investigation into 'driving while black' to see if black people would disproportionally get pulled over. They did, however they were also disproportionally speeding.

And who are you to tell anyone else to think about someone other than themselves? How do you know who anyone else thinks about?
@@MickeyNoble it's not racism, it's a crime if you try to illegally cross the border. The laws don't care if you're white, black, or hispanic, a crime is a crime.
Greg Tziatzias laws can't care but those in charge of enforcing them do
lil wayne's has a beautiful voice...so crisp and clear voice
I love how sharp kept trying to bait Wayne. My man wasn't falling for it.
That's little Wayne experience but Shannon has had a totally different experience. Because you have never experienced it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
@@thetruthinsports Preach OG ✊🏿
looked to me like Sharpe was wearing it like a badge of honor though... "check my timeline" he says...
Nah you gotta watch the whole thing Shannon said he is proud of Wayne for not making anything up and sticking to his story
😂😂😂
"Racism is so not cool that kids don't even mention it. It's like , 'what? Why bring it up'" Exactly! That's what I try to tell people.
Shannon got so triggered he took off his glasses.. 😂
Chris Fwm he literally commended Wayne on his stance.. Triggered how?
@@TheYungTrixx because he wanted Wayne to play the race card with Shannon but was left alone
@@yungboolin8954 my friend I am from Romania (eastern Europe) I am white, and there are a LOT of Gypsies here. I have nothing against them BUT OH BOY a big part of Romanians are racist towards them to say the least. And it would be so EASY for me to not be bothered by that because I can easily say that it's not my problem.
And regarding this video just because somebody of colour hasn't experienced racism that doesn't mean that it doesn't exit.
I do not know what you mean about the racist card.......
Don't let Lil Wayne fool you he's a brilliant man
This group just can't accept his answer. Frustrating
What made me mad is when Shannon has to go out and say, “even though he hasn’t dealt with racism, he knows it exists.” When just earlier lil Wayne talked about his crowd and said “that’s proof there is no racism.”
I guess they were trying to help him to not go to jail 4 years later. When OGs talk you listen instead of act big.
@@purplerain2421 He was talking about the present. He acknowledged racism and I’m certain he knows abt mfking slavery. Did you understand the video?
@@korcher0142 you are one stupid bigot
@@Nodnarb69 ehh, they ARE his fans, they won't be racist. He needs to drive through Missouri and Pennsylvania.
His last sentence: A white cop picked me up and took me to the Hospital...
that was amazing
B.B King said almost the same exact thing and he came from a different time. They didn’t even want to interview him when they couldn’t get him to admit victim hood!

@h w The rich are why we all have jobs. The rich pay the over whelming majority of taxes.
h w The rich are the ones to take the risks and responsibilities of large corporations. If you work for that company and it goes downhill, they lose all of their investments, thousands, if not millions of dollars. You, the worker, only lose your job. It seems to me that you want to oppress rich people because they are more successful than you.
Amen man
@@darthjarjarbinks8953 I've never worked for a poor person. Has anybody?
God is good
This man is as real as real gets and that’s all I need to say. Rap isn’t really my thing but I’ve always listened to his and enjoyed it. I respect Lil Wayne for his actions and his beliefs. Even after all his blessings he still has a very clear belief system and will not be taken from his path. Love this guy!
Just another gang banging primitive 🦍
I was taught in the 90s to never judge someone by the color of their skin. Here I am in 2020 listening to race baiters. Blows my mind.
And a white cop saved his life when he was 12,maybe that had a impact on how he's sees the world .he's like I'm just me man .
And your just you .
If all people just saw it like that

@@MidnightOfRain stupid 🤣🤣🤣
I can relate to Wayne to a certain extent. I too have live in the south (Florida) my entire life and can honesty say that I have never experienced racism or any negative experiences from law enforcement. I do realize that it does exist though.
The majority of us can relate. Half the ppl who claim they have experienced racism are simply talking about a time when a White person may have called them the N word or when they were profiled because the way they dressed and they blamed it on racism.
move to virgina
+MG23 Nigga that is racism
You must be green too
I hear u and I'm wit u cuz, I'm from Florida as well raised in Miami, and I can honestly say I too haven't experienced racism.. what I have experienced is and attitude or a predisposition from whites not cause I'm black but because I'm an urban black male wit an urban dress code rockin earrings and tatts and driving in urban style Cars, impala ss, Chevy monti carlos and box Chevys to name a few but once they see where my heart and mind is at the attitude fades, so I'm my opinion the new racism is profiling.. judging on the looks of a person rather then his skin color. lastly.. notice are brothers getting killed by the police. it aint black doctors lawyers and white color black men, it's always the hood looking dude getting shot.. it's why trayvon lost his life cause he was a black dude wit a hoodie on at night.. let hem have been a black dude business suit on wit a breaf case.. punk behind George Zimmerman would of keep it movin.
I’ve always been fascinated by his talent as an artist, but I also truly appreciate him as a person. This man wields intelligence on another level.
-He’s guaranteed to win
-When he steps in
- He ain’t a shoo-in
- No, he’s got two in
;)
Wayne shows a lot of wisdom and hope for humanity in this video.
Why do journalists ALWAYS ask a person of colour; actor, musician, about UNIVERSAL Race issues.
They never ask white celebrities about Race & Racism.
He´s just a musician not a politician.
Yes say that loud
U so Intelligent for real no cap
He might just just be a musician, but he has more influence on the people. Than any politician 😂
They never ask white celebrities their opinion, because in the current US social climate, white opinions are viewed as lacking perspective and understanding, and are often seen as irrelevant

I never cared for his music but this interview of him gave me my 100% respect for Lil Wayne. Dude is keeping it real!
He's one of the few rappers actually talking about anything of substance or consequence 😉💖🙏🏾🇺🇸
Lil Wayne is truly wise, open eyes. He doesn’t give in to hate.
