+1992rmaw I am raised a muslim like every other turk. But I fell from islam at the age 13 to become a hardcore atheist. I was constantly debating religious people. I was good against the muslims but not against christians because I didn't know anything about their faith. So I decided reading the bible. I loved it. I already liked religious art of catholicism a lot and listened to chants a lot. I really liked Jesus but I had many prejudiced thought about it because of being raised muslim. I needed evidence about Jesus and I found them on OT. I also needed another proof about 1st century christians worshipping Jesus as God. And I found that by Ignatius of Antioch. Considering Bible was not exactly around before 4th century and that we knew by absolute certainty that Jesus was seen as God from the beginning made me understand Sola Scriptura made no sense and it made me understand the real value of Church Tradition. So I became a Catholic. This is a really shallow and short version of it :)
+Prasad Perera I was born in Catholic family and spent over 35 years practicing this religion . I discovered so many made up stories told to us as a true, like the one that Jesus fall 3 times crying the Cross on Calvary. Bible does not say that, read for yourself, you NOT going to find it in Bible. He did not stumble AT ALL,not even once. Can somebody tell me the chapter and verse where i can find this if i am wrong PLEASE i am bit freaking out right now. Or that Mary was taken to Heaven with her body-I CAN`T FIND THIS IN THE BIBLE! Does the Pope and his priests are teaching false stories?
John 21:25 says, "There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written."
hi, , I read your post about made up stories in church. first about Jesus falling 3 times. I am a little surprise that you din't know there is no mention of it in the bible for 35 years. you know -if you think you are christian, you should read the bible. The teaching of the church is based on tradition and bible, if you ground your beliefs on only one of them or none(?) , then obviously you will be mistaken .but it is not the church's fault but yours. so, concerning the matter of Jesus falling, the bible says that Simon was assigned to help Jesus carry the cross ,which wouldn't have happened if Jesus hadn't had trouble carrying it. the rest i.e. the number of fallls is the passed down by tradition, which is both the source of the new testament and oral tradition written down later.
second thing -about the bodily assumption of Mary -it is again the tradition not the bible. tradition is what is handed down to us from the first church . now it is illogical to trust the new testament and not to trust the common tradition of the church, as it is the case of protestantism. why? because the new testament was written within the church , by the church and for the church . if you reject the authentic tradition of that church, you also contest the reliability of the new testament.
Omni die dic Mariae Mea laudes anima: Ejus festa, ejus gesta Cole devotissima. Contemplare et mirare Ejus celsitudinem: Dic felicem genitricem, Dic beatam Virginem. Ipsam cole, ut de mole Criminum te liberet, Hanc appella, ne procella Vitiorum superet. Haec persona nobis dona Contulit coelestia; Haec regina nos divina Illustravit gratia.
Sussulto del cuore... Anima Christi: Anima Christi, sanctifica me. Corpus Christi, salva me. Sanguis Christis, inebria me. Aqua lateris Christi, lava me. Passio Christi, conforta me. O bone Iesu, exaude me. Intra vulnera tua absconde Absconde me. Ne permittas a te me separari. Ab hoste maligno defende me. In hora mortis meae voca me. Voca me.....Et iube me venire ad te. Ut cum Sanctis tuis laudem te. Infinita saecula saeculorum. Amen
Daily, daily sing to Mary, Sing, my soul, her praises due: All her feasts, her actions honor With the heart’s devotion true. Lost in wond’ring contemplation, Be her majesty confessed: Call her Mother, call her Virgin, Happy Mother, Virgin blest. She is mighty in her pleading, Tender in her loving care; Ever watchful, understanding, All our sorrows she will share. Advocate and loving mother, Mediatrix of all grace: Heaven’s blessings she dispenses On our sinful human race.

To utwór HOMOFONICZNY. Ponadto barok nie bez powodu jest nazywany epoką monodii akompaniowanej: monodii, czyli melodii która jest jednak najczęściej w sopranie
