You didn't mention what kind of primer you used for a location that can get moist???? I would have used Zinsser Shellac primer - dries quick and hard! 33 yr handyman here. Just subbed 6/8/23 Thanks!

Also Exterior grade semi-gloss would've been the best finish for a window sill exposed to the heat of the sun!!!!

What did you do on the outside to prevent water damage in the future? What you did was nice but how did it happen? Leak from siding into the window? Failed caulking?

Once it dries 100% it’ll look less textur-y. That floetrol works great! 👍🏼
