How to install a Tig Button for Amperage control at your Fingertips !
I am not affiliated in any way with TigControl.com,
I purchased this product with my own money.
This is my honest evaluation of this Tig button.

I'm glad I found your channel. I've been considering getting one of these, and now that I see it installed and in use, I'm going to pull the trigger. Thanks man !
You’re welcome,
Just remember, there might be a learning curve for some people. I had no trouble, and have loved it from the start.
Good luck sir
I use a millermatic cst 280 stick/tig with a miller radio controlled foot pedal and I love this set up no cord.
your install is mickey mouse. Remove the sheet metal of your welder. Plenty of room inside. I would also get another torch handle and grind it down to fit the tig button, The sleeve over the hose is amust. No zip ties needed. Thanks for posting anyway.

💪👍💯
I thought my post flow was crazy long hahaha, just busting chops...no harm. Love the video I'm getting one! thanks!!
You’re welcome, I don’t think you will regret it, I still love mine
Way to much bullshit for a simple switch. Now you got an extra wall plug to be a inconvenience. Now you got to run another extension cord from your welding cart to be in the way. Pulling a screw off your welders cover will void warranties because now they will say the cover was removed.
I am excited each, and every time I use this button, it is such a dramatic difference between dragging that pedal around, your mileage may vary and you are certainly entitled to your own opinion.
I would pay double for this button than what it cost me 👍
Worth every penny, trust me. The extra plug is a little inconvenient, but not that big of a deal. If you're worried about the warranty, you can ground it to the frame. You just sound like a hater.
i have this tig control button but i lost my power adapter. can please verify what is the power output the control box takes to power up? ill call dave tomorrow if i don't hear from you today.
As most of my work is with boats, I am rarely in a position where a foot pedal is easy to use. I LOVE THIS UNIT! Dave is has helped me several times with customer service and I've bought additional units for different welders. There is just not another unit that comes close to how smooth this works. I can ease in, or hold a little heat at the end as I wish.. throw away your on/off switches.
Yes absolutely an awesome control, I love mine too!
Got one about 8 moths ago, so far so good. Attached to my torch with the recommended silicon tape. The tape allows for rotating the button in order to better position it under different circumstances. BTW, running water cooled torch.
The velcro does the same as far as repositioning the button, and I am very happy with it since using it for a while now.
I have never used a water cooled torch in over 30 years of fabrication.
Sometimes I feel like I’m missing out 😆
how about the leif tig its possible to contact the trigger switch
Seems like the upgrades never end is the truest statement haha
Nice tool! Any idea, does it work with the Fronius?!
Sorry but I have no idea if it will work with a fronius, you need to call Dave @ tig controls, he would know,
Thanks for watching
Found your channel looking for reviews on the button because it's pretty expensive, more than my 25ft water cooled torch and lead! Like you I build steel furniture among other things and the foot pedal sucks when your welds are two inches at most then you have to move again. Really adds time to a project. How long did it take you to get used to it and do you even use the foot pedal anymore?
Thanks for watching Joseph… It really to zero time to get used to using a button for control, but it took a couple hours welding to find a comfortable spot on the torch that worked for
Different weld positions.
I still swivel the button around sometimes and switch between using a finger or my thumb to press the button.
The pedal has been in the drawer since I installed the button
Hope this helps
Very nice set up vid, Brian. Thanks for the good advice.
My pleasure,
Did you purchase one of these Tig buttons from Dave ?
dont they sell the appropriate torch under 200$???
Not that I am aware of, but there are hundreds of torches available and more options every day.
Could you share a link of the torch you’re talking about ?
Can I add the Tig button to a non-pedal machine?
You will have to ask Dave at Tig controls about that, he is very helpful. You can call or email him
What tig machine does not have a pedal? How do you control your amps?
If the machine doesn't do it then a button or pedal isn't going to do anything
Thanks 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
