I'd pay a lot of money to go back in time, to Reading 92. Makes me think, its sad how expensive festivals are now - apparently its mostly ya's (richer types) at Glastonbury now (which means its lost part of its original ethos). We need to set up a major 3 day festival that is £80 (inc camping).
Was at this Reading, brings back lots of memories,Nirvana ,Pavement,Screaming Trees,PIL,Ride, The Charlatans, Redd Kross, Public Enemy and many more, it pissed of rain all weekend and TFC cut their set short to let Captain America play coz the NME tent was washed out . Teenage Fanclubtastic.
And over thirty years later they're still making music that is relevant and beautiful. Not sure I can think of another band that can say that. Superchunk? Yo La Tengo? Rare air up there.
