But I will say to you something that is essential that cant be bought : your why for being a nurse in the 1st place. Anyone who has asked me over the last 10 years I've been in this field, I always say this to. Sure, the cute scrubs and all that is great 👍🏿.......but your heart and soul really gotta be in it. When you deal with patients and families and doctors that really test your gangsta or when staffing is super short or you're questioning if you did enough (even when you did every viable option available)... Lot of people don't honestly consider that stuff. And I'm in no way saying this to instill fear, but to be as authentic as possible from the Black female perspective of it all. Sending you so much love and prayers for your success in school and beyond❤❤❤
