I read somewhere that the barrel gap is around .008-.010". Even with that my mag still hangs up and won't index. I took my mags over to AOA after watching your last video. The kid at the store checked a few and my slugs fell out of all of them. He told me that Western is working on a slug specific mag. That might be BS. I'm ready to ditch this platform. I love my FX Impact M4.
@@JScott-wz2ug I've got my 3 mags and I'm happy. In hindsight....I may have gone a different direction. I want the U.S. made stuff and want to support Western but just not satisfied with the customer service.
I recently pre-ordered a Sidewinder compact in .30. Any chance you can make a video showing the break-down of the lower breech block assembly? Agree with you 100%, one of the first things anyone should do upon receiving a sidewinder is to inspect that damn breech block….based on your unfortunate experience. Western has like zero info out there as far as disassembly of the weapon. I haven’t even seen an “explosion” graphic of the weapon showing all the parts and internals, o-rings etc.
It’s not just you. They were flat out rude to me about my rattler. They flat out insulted me. And previously to that on my omega air compressor. They gave me the wrong parts and refused to talk to me on the phone or email or text. The only reply I got from Tod was. You get what you get 🤦🤷♂️I will forever vote with my money. They and Fox air power will never! Get any money from me Ever.
@@FxFanBoy this is great information. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm sorry you got screwed. I don't understand why people treat their customers so poorly. Customers should be valued so that they are happy to return. Guess these folks don't rely on return customers. After hearing your story, I'll never be a customer.
@@airgunsofidaho4886 have you guys refunded any guns? If so, which ones? What reason? Have you watched all of my videos on the Sidewinder? Any suggestions on a solid semi-auto with a removable magazine?
@@airgunsofidaho4886 I understand. I am at a point where I'm content with my Western but insist on remaining steadfast for other consumers until these magazine tolerance issues are resolved. The crack, I hope for the community, is only a one time issue.
Great to see the update….been waiting for this update.

I did watch a few of your videos on the sidewinder. I can't recommend any semi auto airguns since I only have experience with my lsc sk 19 .25cal
